1. The first Tejas Mk1A from @HALHQBLR’s Nashik Division (the third #LCA production plant), fitted with a CAT-B engine, is expected to have its first flight sometime in June, ahead of being handed over to the #IAF.

How does the indigenous electronic warfare suit of tejas or su30mki compare against rafale with their systems like spectra?
We have more modern hardware (GaN), their system is more mature and has better software and features. Spectra has other RF (towed and expendable decoys) and non-RF sensors too (EO/IR sensor, MAWS).

1. Some of the pilots attached to #NFTC / #ADA MIGHT HAVE BEEN directed to report to their respective units/bases on priority.

The order for 97 is based on IAF taking deliveries and testing them, not the Nashik line.
With ASRAAM Block-6 & Astra, it's one capable bird in air-to-air role. Just need more numbers in operational service.
Small size, low RCS would mean Tejas could sneak up and use 50kms ranged ASRAAM Block-6 to be very good use against the enemy

I have a few questions:
How will the dual pylon of Astra work? Like how many Astra would it be able to carry?
By what time can we expect the integration of dual pylon on the tejas?
Will the astra mk1 & mk2 share the same pylon because they have very similar dimensions or we'll need a different one?

All Astra series missiles have Ku-Band AESA seeker be it Astra MK1, MK2 or even VL-SRSAM.Rather Astra Mk2 with aesa seeker on Tejas Mk1a would be

We have a dual pylon for Asraam integrated so it probably would be able to integrate more than 2 ASRAAM at once, no? Or am I mistaken on the concept of a dual rack pylon?
Not known but my guess would be between 700-800 TRMs.
Can anyone here knowledgeable tell me why DRDO isn't going for a Pylon that houses both EW Suite plus Missile like in Gripen which means we are able to make Tejas carry 2 CCMs+ 2 EW Suites on either sides each.
With 3 Drop tanks plus 2 Dual Rack BVRAAMs we would meet the required payload that is needed to make Tejas adequate 1. 4x BVRAAMs 2. 2x CCMs 3. 2x EW Integrated on Pylons 4. 3x Drop Tanks
As of now we are only able to make 1. 2x BVRAAMs 2. 1x CCM 3. 1x EW Suite 4. 3x Drop Tanks.
There is one more idea with either the centre drop tank or side drop tanks in case dual rack BVRs are not feasible that is to approach the F-15 way where it has AMRAAMs on Drop Tank such that drop tanks can be dropped in case seamlessly without obstruction. It would slightly decrease fuel in drop tank but would give us hardpoints.
