1. But is it hidden? No.
2. Does any of the agencies of India not accept the death? No.
3. Can an ordinary citizen of India request for information regarding his death? Yes.
4. Is the family kept hidden? No. In fact, they government of the state openly awards his/her family member with a government job. A monetary compensation is provided if the said service person had died in action.
5. Hence, your entire point is moot.
Then you'll just have to trust us on your casualties being hidden.
