it's going to be a problem for Europe in the future. These military governments aren't that effective and the Wagner guys will do the minimum to ensure that whatever gold and resources are able to flow back to Russia.

The greater Sahel will just have wide swathes of space for migrants to cross, islamists to grow, and instability to spread.
