Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

Loss of initiative is what happened. Donald Trump f*cked with things he has ZERO control over. First IMF providing loans and then brokering time for the Pakistanis to regroup. I am frankly disappointed that we allowed them to mess up our operation. Not standing up to US is something that has inherently prevented us from doing what's right and had to done multiple times. One thing has to be made clear to US that if they cannot stand by and stay f*cking neutral, they can say good bye to all Indian cooperation regarding any and everything going forward.
The US may say "fine then no intelligence sharing with you wtr to PLA movement on the border." Our satellite capability for real time surveillance iirc is not there at the moment and we will likely only have it around 2029 or 2030. China made Galwan move just one year after Balakot. I have a feeling PLA will do something similar in next 1-2 years. We need US intelligence and weapons to deter them.

And who exactly is US going to depend on wrt to China if not India?

There will be more than enough time to analyze the results of these engagements & the performance of platforms later.

Just saying...if the Russians had managed to strike every major airfield in the continental United States, they wouldn't be loosing any sleep over the potential loss of a Su-57 in the process.

I don't think anyone's bothered by the Rafale loss. People are just being curious.

And the reason for this curiosity is due to the fact that this operation has pretty much entirely been an air war, way more than 90% of it. In such a situation, air losses, the number of drones and other targets we shot down, the performance of our assets, the strikes etc become important.

The most important bit is BDA, but we have zero clue of the BDA on Pakistan's side, on the ground. Hence the focus on BDA on whatever we can see on the Indian side.

Our operation is also essentially a 5 phase operation: Non-military targets, air strikes on military targets, naval strikes, limited ground war, and full fledged war. Any attempt to redraw the border requires ground operations. Once that happens, everything before that becomes irrelevant. That's why we don't care much about the air battles or naval battles between Russia and Ukraine. Most of our energies are now focused on Russia's territorial gains instead. Sadly for us, our operation stopped in just the 2nd phase.

So now we do BDA on our stuff, what we know, and then focus on the overall BDA once we get official word and BROSINT sat images.

It's like getting the bad news out of the way and then start work on the good news. Btw, we are already there.

Meanwhile Shehbaz Sharif is already claiming victory.

@randomradio now Pakistan knows where its military tech now stands. I think this will allow them to modernise military. More importantly, they may even go back to US/western side.
More importantly, India knows where its defence stands when it comes to air conflict. Hopefully someone fixes that.
With what ? Chinese tech 🤣
My dear friend. Dont be arrogant, as it will be our end. Lets face it, their BVR worked. In whatever sense or context, it worked. We can not keep ourself limited to 90s tech. We need to step up to latest in air warfare.

IMHO I think the US military can take on China by themselves at least for now. This may change in the next 5-10 years. But for now in almost every conceivable way the US military is vastly superior to the PLA. They have more aircraft carriers, way more stealth fighters, way more stealth bombers, experience fighting conventional armies, the best cyber capabilites, MANY MORE space assets compared to china, more submarines, etc. If China tries to take Taiwan in 2027 IMHO I think the US military will beat them back. Not only is the US superior in hard power they're focusing a lot on next generation stuff. The systems Anduril is making for eg is very impressive. Quite frankly until PLAN has like 5-6 nuclear carriers with stealth fighters on them along with stealth bombers etc etc (basically an answer to EVERYTHING the US has ) i don't think the US will need multiple countries on its side to take on the PLA. And even then the US isn't alone it has Japan Korea and Taiwan each of which have fairly robust militaries.

Victory for lumber 1 army when their own airbases were literally on fire 🤣

Yeah, it's funny to see people's using "Chinese Tech" as insult in 2025. It's almost like they are still living in early 2000s. Chinese Tech is second only to US at this point.

Wtr to air to air we need Astra mk2 and mk3 by 2030. We also need as many members in this forum have said a stealth fighters, either Su57 or F35 to face J35 that Pakistan will get as AMCA will be coming in more than a decade from now. Imo we need to get Su57 as it may be easier for us to integrate our own weapons on it compared to F35.

We needed long range BVR in 2015. We do not have now in 2025. Beg Borrow and Steal but get long range BVRs.

AIM260 , T3, R37M and whatever. Just get them.

When a nation like Pakistan can even dare to challenge you or even think about it, you have a problem.

We will have Astra mk2 and hopefully LSP of Gandiva by 2030, but the real threat is J35 with PL15 which Pakistan will have by 2030. We NEED an answer to that and I'm not confident that Rafale is a suitable answer to it. Some people were talking about Rafale F5 but it seems it's coming after 2030? By then Pakistan will have J35.

If you think about it. For past 3 days it felt as if we were fighting a near peer level adverory. Thats what is wrong. And once this fifth gen fighter shows up, it will feel like fighting a much more sophosticated enemy.
