Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

Some observations

PAF was a mess in 19, has not improved much in 25. There is not even a single verified proof (satellite photo, video) anywhere that their strike did any damage.

The hyped Turkish drones don't do well in a defended air space. They are only good for killing Kurds and Balochs who dont have AA

HQ-9 is not suited against small drones or fast missiles. Its strong against aircraft in a networked environment on a good day. That is all it can hope to do.

The missile shootdown over Sirsa, didnt get the attention it deserves. Pak's ability to send a missile on major Indian cities is now questioned.

The strike at Skardu was a shot across the bow to the Chinese - who regularly show up there. The inability of Pak to stop any strikes at all will put a question on any major investment in Pak (CPEC included). No one can risk money in a country which can suddenly find itself at war and unable to protect its cities.

PAF's doctrine of spray and pray with PL-15s is proving to be an expensive dud. They can at best shoot a few planes on day 1 and go out of business by end of day 3.

Pak in the recent decades has spent considerable coin on its Naval modernization, only to realize its a fool's errand. Its Navy is still vulnerable for factors beyond Pak's control.

PAF's confidence in its capabilities and doctrine wont be good right now. I can almost imagine a picture where PAF like Oliver Twist goes to Munir with a bowl saying - Please sir can I have some more.

On India's side, the only good thing outcome is our statement going forward any terror act is an act of war. Which means IAF can knock out PAF AA on day 1 instead of having to risk hits.

Diplomatically we need to up our game. All the effort in the middle east, Europe, US - the results didnt add up.

Carrothead is still not happy about the election snub from Leaderji in Sep 24. Expect juvenile actions from him.

The Pakistan Ministry of Defense has released many satellite photos of Indian air force bases, but I cannot publish them on this forum.
After all, this will 100% be considered as Pakistani propaganda.
Publish them. That photo of the S400 has been debunked here and elsewhere. The fact is that Indian military backed up their claims with clear sat images which can also be cross verified. I'm totally okay with losing a Rafale for the damage that was inflicted on Pakistani airbases. Indian and Russian AD systems performed successfully whereas Pak was left vulnerable by Chinese AD. The only saving grace here is that Pak didn't have HQ9/16s in sufficient numbers.

I'm not stupid enough to claim that this means all Chinese AD systems are ineffective because for sure China has other systems and importantly in sufficient numbers. If you look at this episode without bias you will admit that India did more damage and struck deep into Pakistani homeland with impunity. Most importantly, Indian AD systems did their job where Chinese ones failed.

Many memebers here and most people on net have argued as to why we hit maintenance hangers and not the blast pens or the AHS-aicraft hardened shelters? Each AHS has just one aircraft in it but the maintenance hangers house many aircraft and also of different kind. We had very precise information as to te number and tyoe of aircraft in each of those hangers. Please assured that the count of aircraft destroyed in those hangers is about 8 ac.

I would say hit the maintenance facilities first. You get their maintenance crews and specialized equipment out, it silently kills the enemy.

Aircrafts are maintenance hungry animals.

For sure I want to believe Pak aircraft were destroyed but it's unfortunate we won't have any proof so all anyone can say is it's possible. Only Indian military will know as they have access to higher resolution pics than what were shared and there's no way they will disclose the capabilities of our ISR.

One more very important point which is not yet discussed is the the very very very big political risk Modi took in #opsindoor ...Imaging a scenario where Pakistan missile or drones have stuck in our city and many civilians are dead ...Congress+Pakistan combo would have ran a massive negative campaign against mode saying "Indians paying in blood for Modis warmongering" and all sorts of crap ......now when faced with more civilian death and a strong congress campaign would have made it difficult for Modi to move up the escalation ladder . Modi too know how low these congress stooges can go ( 26/11 done by RSS campaign) but still he went ahead ..........only a very strong leader can do something what Modi did and there are very few like him in the world right now , Infact strong leaders like Putin or American presidents don't have a congress party with Sonia/Rahul to happily sabotage anything for personal/Political interest when they are going to take a strong decision ...so modis political risk should be saluted and we should stop comparing Modi with any politicians , he deserve to be compared with our historical Hindu kings for this leadership and guts .

Don't get tricked by the anti-import lobby. While ToT is desirable, we also need physical capabilities that we do not have. Foreign jets can integrate to almost the same level as any Indian jet with our current infra, all we need is some access to the MDPU and our own datalink/satlink, which has already been done on Rafale F3R. For AMCA level integration, we need all sorts of new hardware, software, and protocols that do not exist today. Weapons integration is necessary, but MRFA will come with that as a default demand.

Why will typhoon fail compared to the rafale? Please explain. The typhoon can use ngarm and has a bigger aesa radar. What are the issues?
