Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

Rattled is an understatement.

In the last few days my interactions with people from across the line have been interesting to say the least. I was expecting a mind numbing item number of 5-0 Rafail. Instead it was a series of muted subdued encounters, I waited for the topic to come up. It seldom did.

When it came there was less bluster and more counsel for peace. I held my tongue. The blame as expected was on our side for the reckless attacks and targeting population centers.

I just shrugged and replied that after 26/11, Uri, Pulwama, Pehalgam, the people feel dialogue isnt working. This time no one even took the bait.

Interestingly the biggest casualty of this conflict - much to my disappointment hasnt been Munir. Its the youthiyas who crawled out of the woodwork demanding their beloved leader be made a part of the establishment. They are being actively sought and administered behavior correction treatments.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I am surprised that they have turned reticent.

@randomradio it's Souray Jha,he is a reputed one on defense reporting.

I know. But he is extremely biased when it comes to the US. Hates imports too.

But Pakistan buying and operating the PAC-3 is way out of its budget. And we have the ability to defeat it anyway.

The Israeli Air Force is determined to decommission all Patriot surface-to-air missile batteries within the next few months. The Older Forum command has officially announced the decision, noting that all the fire units will be put out of operation within the next eight weeks, that is, by the end of June 2024.

"The Patriot is an old system that is challenging to maintain, so we are currently in the process of reducing the batteries until the entire system is closed," explains Patriot Battalion commander, Lt. Col. Matan. "We need to move forward and improve our defense methods," he said adding that Patriots will be replaced by more advanced air defense equipment.

And as per Indian forces, India's IADS is more advanced than Israel's.

If Pakistan wants to compete with India now, it needs to build its own industry.

They have both, they are sending both to the grinder.
Why is USA getting so friendly with Pakistan lately? any reason?

Whats their interest in the region? Does not make sense.

I believe extreme right of USA has extreme hatred of India for some weird reason... Just like entire left. Moderate right, like old guard republican party is better.

My take on it is, more Munir remains in power, more *censored*ed up Pakistan gets, worse it economy and buying power gets.

India needs to make EMP anti drone weapons which I feel can easily handle any FPV or small drone Turks or Porks throw at us. That and Bhargavastra anti drone system and our existing laser systems, L70 can handle swarm drones relatively well. No matter how big a swarm is, surviving EMP, anti drone missiles, lasers AND thousands of rounds a minute is simply not possible. Each Bhargavastra truck has 64 anti drone missiles, so just 50 trucks means a whopping 3,200 anti drone interceptor missiles.

Also, Turks don't have Barak 8 and our upcoming Project Kusha, there is also Akash NG and Akash 1S and Akash normal variant along with QRSAM. Yea idt Porks can penetrate our IADS that easily with just drones. With Akashteer now we can respond even more quickly to swarm drones incursions.

Trump is dealing with Iran. So he needs Pakistan to create a front.

I believe extreme right of USA has extreme hatred of India for some weird reason...

They have been misled to believe Indians are taking away their jobs or are to blame for job losses, irrespective of their inability to get or keep the jobs. They want someone to blame, and they have found their scapegoat.

There are 37+ million STEM jobs (more than half requiring degrees) but less than 2 million Indians on visa out of 4 million adults (and 1 million children). No one likes to point this out. Instead Ramaswamy went on a ridiculous tirade against anti-education American culture when it wasn't his place. So Indians came into focus because of that.

And Indian Americans and supporters are doing a piss poor job of defending themselves 'cause most of them hate Trump based on leftist propaganda rather than aspects concerning their own lives. What's ironic is the same leftists hate Indians more than the MAGA extremists 'cause the existence of Indians goes against their racism narrative, and Indian Americans seem to have no clue. So anti-Indian views are bipartisan.

Basically, leftists say whites are racists. Then MAGA points towards the success of Indians and Asians. So now Indians are clubbed with white people in the oppressor category. That's why they are trying to bring caste into American politics. Naturalized Indians with voting rights are from the golden days when the Democrats were decent, but have been on the Democrat Kool-Aid for so long that they are unlikely to change. Us-born Indians are changing their political views. And younger visa-holding Indians getting citizenship are too few to matter right now.

Job losses are due to AI, so the powers-that-be are letting the blame fall on irrelevant foreigners. So if majority Indian Americans turn independent, the community will become a game-changer in politics. Being of a foreign culture and having partisan beliefs is ridiculous. The good news is young US-born voters are choosing who to vote. 53:39 for Harris:Trump vs 67:24 for naturalized. But MAGA's anti-immigration views are affecting the voting choice of upcoming citizens.

I think its more like may be we are NOT cosying up with west or rather with anyone in particular. I guess this is the price of having an independent foreign and economic policy.

We will not harm our economic interest for the west. We will not harm our relationship with west by providing a staging ground for Russia. We keep both of them close and not close enough.

Ergo, we get some advantage from both but not a lot from anyone.
