Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terroist Camps Inside Pakitsan

But...but...but janab Udhampur burning from our lumber 1 Fatah missiles! Anyways if we haven't we need to make extensive use of say imagery to showcase that no damage was done to our airbase unlike on Pakistani airbase. BTW dear members on this forum, I think all of you saw the laughable claims by the Pakistanis that they "hacked" our networks and satellites as well as our electricity grid (LOL). However while the third rate rump state to the west is not anywhere near doing such things, the enemy to the east is well capable of doing stated things and unfortunately even more. My friend who worked at the US DoD (he's Indian American) told me in his opinion India is not prepared for cyberwarfare at all. Resident experts in this forum @sahoo @randomradio @Ashwin and others, I want to know how vulnerable is our networks and even our satellites to interference by the bats? Have we taken any steps to harden our systems against cyber and EW threats from the bats?

We are not fully equipped for CW if the US or China attack us. We have some ability to fight back though, keep some systems running. By 2028-30, we will be ready to fight at their level. Btw, his information is slightly old, new systems have been inducted since 2023 that are still not publicly visible yet. His info is probably from before 2023.

In 2 more years, we will begin launching quantum satellites for communications, for local and global comm. We have also built a local terrestrial quantum network for Delhi in 2023. At the national level, in the first phase, we will connect Chennai, Bangalore, and Delhi. Then it will connect all important cities.

We also have an operational quantum computer with 25 physical qubits built by a startup. But the govt and other private companies also have their own programs.

I would say have to agree with this article's conclusion.

Limited war, airplane losses are so gigantic and media attention hoggers.

Pakistan also had enough AWACS to make a huge difference.
PAF is US centric in the way they fight. PAF depend heavily on AEW&C and they do it well, they do more with less and it shows. The IAF not so much. For a big air force IAF lacks AEW&C aircraft which likely contribute to their losses. Also I don't know what tactics they employ do they depend heavily on GC?

The PAF participated in Red Flag 24-3 last year so they are still keeping up with their US centric training.

US has military personnel keeping an eye on PAF F-16's so any loss will be easily verified but for now it looks like once again no PAF F-16's were destroyed in air.

Take a look at this....

DGISPR - How S-400 was targetted.... in Adampur (no before and after pictures)...

Only one MAJOR problem with this picture....

This picture is from before 2017 or so...

a lot of construction since then has happened...

Notice the blue cannopy, the air brige roofs. That is new construction.

These guys are IDIOTS!! LOL!

Agree with him on this.

When you fire a missile (AAM or SAM), you know what you are firing at and track it on the radar as well what happened to the target eventually.

Our Air DGMO's statement that we shot down enemy jet fighters without giving any numbers makes no sense at all.
I feel the thinking from our side is this, "we know the hurt we caused them and they know too. It doesn't matter to us how the world sees our strength, we know we are much stronger than them and at the end of the day the ground reality won't change, however much misinfo is spun by them".
So, to me it kinda makes sense personally. I mean in reality there r these kinds of people for whom what the outside world thinks about them, how successful they are or not, it doesn't matter cuz for them they are satisfied knowing their own true self capabilities. They don't need to prove anything especially for validation. Anyways feel free to disagree

There have been claims of 2 jf-17 and 2 f-16 losses due to s-400.
few 100 SU 34 in indian IAF specifically to carry brahmos or other cruise missile would do wonder
No we just need 400 su-30 mki's. Su-34 is useless as shown in Ukraine. Su-30mki's with virupaksha, r-37m, zircon/brahmos mk2 and kinzhal integration will be enough to bully both the Chinese and Pakistanis.

We don't need that, we are getting brahmos NG, the trials for NG is in 2026, every fighter Jet of the indian air force can carry brahmos NG, it's more faster than current version has speed of Mach 3.5, length 6m, diameter 50cm, weight 1.3-1.6 tn, which is half of current version, su30mki can carry 5 of them, Tejas mk1a - 1, Tejas mk2 -2, mig 29upg- 1,
I would like to have every Jet carrying brahmos NG, buying 100 su34 makes no sense to us,

Or RD-93?
Nah I think the initial Hindu report was correct. We lost 3 aircrafts. One is the mirage, the other is this mig 29 and the last is rafale. The claimed flanker loss is most likely a heron which the Pakistanis claimed as a drone.
It could be a jf-17 but knowing the Pakistanis they would be too scared to enter Indian airspace. They never attempt entering Indian airspace. That's has been a pattern since Kargil, post-balakot and even in Op sindoor. They know they will be shotdown within seconds the moment they enter Indian AD.
DD has reported the shooting down of 2 jf-17's and f-16's. Although they have removed it now.
One thing is clear though Hindu,DD and other old established news sources did credible reporting of the war from the start.

I think the j-10 has been given the air-superiority role and CAP role while the jf-17's and f-16's handle strike missions while mirage 3/5's are for ground attack and CAS.
It's likely the Pakistanis lost 3 jf-17's and 1 f-16 in the last 3 days. Along with AEWCS which might have been taken out by the s-400.
Also 2 c-130 and one saab erieye was damaged in Islamabad.

are we working on any laser based AD system for shooting down missiles?
Not very effective. Blooming makes laser not a very good solution for shooting down missiles.

You can shoot down drones however.

I have my doubts. But yes, we lost jets. There is no doubt in that. DGMO also echo'ed same. Good thing? No pilot loss. Machines can be replaced.

Pakistan likely lost both.
