Situation in Pak-afghan border is getting worse. In month of January alone, TTP killed 43 security personnel and injured 50+ more.

Unfortunately for all the fun the TTP & the Baloch Samachars are having , we must gear up for the fact that a good deal of what the US left behind would also make it's way into Kashmir

We have a strong Anti infiltration grid

That is where our TI cameras and
338 caliber Sniper guns will come handy

Balochistan is bigger than Maharashtra in area with a population lesser than Mumbai

Vast areas are sparsely populated

A small team can hide and wait for the Jeeps and other vehicles of PA to move and target them with ease

I don't know what exactly are you talking about. I didn't exactly draw a comparison to Balochistan when I was referring to Kashmir now, did I?

Besides however good the CI grid & border patrolling, in case you haven't noticed we just sent some 20+ wannabe ghazis to meet the designated 72 yr old houri in janna'h only this year. And the year's just begun. Where did they come from?

Kashmir area is much smaller than Baloochistan

Secondly the LOC which is the point of entry is effectively manned and patrolled

In comparison , the Iran and Afghan borders are both being used by TTP and BLA rebels to Carry out their attacks

I suppose you've forgotten about the firefights our forces conduct with the Paxtanis on the LoC already.

The Paxtanis have been pounded into submission , that is why ceasefire is holding up since
Last one year

Infact the Success of BLA and TTP will keep the Paxtanis under our pressure because if they act smart
We can open up the LOC front

So we should give more help to TTP and BLA

By the way the poor Pee Dee Eff crowd is shocked beyond belief
Seeing how their troops are getting butchered 😂

If the Indian military do not implement a policy of heavy retaliation for every attack on a border post, these kind of attacks will become a norm in Kashmir border. LeT have a heavy presence in Afghanistan and they have access to every weapon TTP has. Kashmiri militants operating from Pakistan is known to target indian border posts and with advanced night vision equipments,snipers and rifles, those attacks will be even more deadly

Only option is to extract a heavy price from the Pakistani state for every such attacks and destroy their border posts in the sector shell the living hell out of that area. Extract a price from the enemy and make such attacks not sustainable. Only a strong military deterrence can prevent such attacks.


American weapons have already make its way to Kashmir. In the last few encounters, militants were armed with M4s, not Aks.

I do agree with the assertion that the threat to India is way smaller compared to the threat it possesses to Pakistan. For every weapon that reach Kashmir, 100 will end up in the hands of TTP and Baloch fighters

Yes & no. Even in the past . it's been observed that every time they get caught up in internal disturbances , Paxtani deep state has the knack of diverting manpower & material to Kashmir. That's been their game plan throughout . I doubt there's going to be any exception this time . Having said that after post Uri strikes & Balakote , the situation's become a bit complicated at their end .

Partially true. Whenever Pakistani state is facing an existential threat, Pakistan army agreed for a strategic pause in its campaign against Indian state. Example, soon after end of 1971 war, Pakistani state adopted a policy of strategic patience for atleast one decade. Similarly in 2003 when terrorists started blowing themselves up large numbers, Pakistan Army once again adopted a policy of strategic patience and accepted ceasefire and it fasted for a while. Once Pakistan got an edge over TTP, they once again started focusing against India.

It appears that the Pakistani strategy is to focus on its western border for now and reorient to east later. Imminent fall of Kabul was the main reason Pakistan army agreed for a ceasefire in Kashmir front. KPK is going to pin-down a lot of Pakistani forces and Pakistan Army know it very well. But if the Pakistan Army's campaign in KPK fail, they might indeed create tensions with India to rally the Islamist society behind it.


Obviously it is in our interest to make sure that Pakistan's problems in the west never end. Giving a fixed amount of money to TTP and BLA every year is all we need to do at this point. TTP now have a firm safe heaven in Afghanistan and TTP and Taliban are two sides of the same coin.

India resetting rules of the terror game through Balakote strike also makes terrorism much more risky affair. Back in the days, only loss to Pakistan for every terror attack was just a brainwashed Pakistani no one really cares about.

We have not funded them. They are doing everything on their own.

It needs way more than a few million per year. I believe ISIS earned $1-2B a year.

But we don't fund them because we do not want to be associated with them. It affects our international position against Pakistan. More like the West won't put the squeeze on Pakistan financially if we end up doing what they are doing. And the West and the insurgents are doing a good job for us without us having to do much anyway.

When we do fund them, it will be because we plan on invading Pakistan and finishing it off, like we did with East Pakistan. We will obviously need allies on the other side to maintain peace.

TTP claimed responsibility for 3 more attacks today. TTP claimed 13 Pakistan Army casualties today. Yesterday PA lost 10 soldiers and many more injured in Waziristan attacks.

1)IED attack targeting Pakistani military this morning in Zawai, Shawal, North Waziristan, while also claiming 6 casualties.

2)IED attack targeting army vehicle this morning near Markazi Bazaar, Wana, South Waziristan, while claiming 3 casualties

3) IED attack targeting Pakistan Army this evening in Tiarza, South Waziristan, claiming 4 casualties

There are so many TTP attacks on Pakistan army in the last 2 weeks and they are not isolated. On the 1st of Ramadan, TTP declared that they are launching their spring offensive, operation "Al-Badar". This is similar to the Afghan Taliban strategy of launching Spring offensives every year against US and Afghan forces. TTP spring offensive is turning out to be too costly for Pakistan Army.

The thing is that when Pak takes action against these armed groups, resentment among a section of Pakistani population will grow.

It will take time to boil but it will eventually.

And that section gets riled up over a simple cartoon and demands cutting off any type of relationship with them.

I don't know about others but I want to see pakistan going that way.
