The thing is that when Pak takes action against these armed groups, resentment among a section of Pakistani population will grow.

It will take time to boil but it will eventually.

And that section gets riled up over a simple cartoon and demands cutting off any type of relationship with them.

I don't know about others but I want to see pakistan going that way.

Yup, the Islamist narrative in Pakistan is not in favour of Army now. After imran Khan made a "US Regime change" stunt, Islamists are now claiming that Bajwa is attacking Afghanistan behalf of America

If Taliban Khan doesn't get elected, he will start good old pro Taliban/soft Pushtun nationalist preaching

At around 9.30 pm tonight, the target killers of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) opened fire on a police vehicle on duty in Daraban Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan, killing two lower-ranking police officers, ASI Rukhsar and AS. I (ASI) Sajjad died on the spot. Praise be to Allah. Weapons and large amounts of cash were seized from them.

I see a continuation of this trend for some time because Fauji Foundation is busy with other pressing issues namely the bankrupt economy & the political problems caused by their erstwhile protege & friend turned foe Dimran. Till such time as they don't sort out Dimran & PTI this will continue to simmer .

Any intervention now in a big way would turn away focus from the operation to the repercussions it'd have on ordinary people living in FATA / KPK causing outrage - an opening Dimran would be sure to exploit.

OTOH , left unchecked the TTP having tasted blood would up the ante , miscalculate , launch a major operation , invite public outrage setting the stage for another Operation Radd ul Fasad or Zarb e Khasb.

In the meanwhile Taliban will continue to stir the pot adding to the emerging gulf between Afghanistan & Paxtan. There's no better time to be a Paxtani than now - whether purana or naya Paxtan.

The current TTP Amir is not an idiot, he is a political master.He brought back all TTP fractions back under TTP fold again. He understood that their attacks on civilians resulted in TTP loosing the narrative war inside Pakistan and TTP under him changed direction. In 2018, He gave the TTP order not to attack public gatherings anymore.

The killing of security forces is back to 2008-2012 level now. At this rate, TTP will kill more than 600-800 Pakistani security forces this year. Civilian killing is low compared to 2008-2014 era due to change in strategy.

At 6:10 pm today, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) mine masters attacked military personnel in Patwali area of Ladha Tehsil, South Waziristan, injuring five personnel, two of whom are in critical condition. Among them are Cop Nadeem, Cop Shafiq and Cop Fazal Waheed.

At 12 o'clock last night, Mujahidin of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ambushed and attacked military personnel in Halki Charmang area of Naogai Tehsil of Bajaur Agency in which two slave soldiers were killed and four others were injured.

While the Mujahideen reached their safe havens with the help and support of Allah Almighty. Praise be to Allah

2)Attack on army in North Waziristan

Last night, Mujahidin launched a counter attack on a check post of anti-Islamic occupying forces in Sheratla area of Spin Wam Tehsil of North Waziristan. Rocket launcher and heavy machine were also used in the attack. In which there are reports of heavy loss of life and property. Praise be to Allah

Mujahideen killed enemy spy in South Waziristan

(Wilayat DI Khan - District Wana) On March 22 last month, based on information provided by the Taliban's Intelligence Agency (TIA), Kala Khan, a very dangerous spy in Wana, was targeted in a successful targeted killing operation. Praise be to Allah. Was involved in the Pakistani drone attack on a house of Mujahideen last year in which the entire family of one of our Mujahid brothers including women and children were martyred. The main reason for the delay in broadcasting the news was to expose the spy network in Wana. After exposing this network, we accept responsibility for the murder of this spy.

Mujahideen attack on police post in Khyber Agency

(Wilayat Peshawar District Bara)

Last evening, Mujahidin attacked Akakhel "Ajab Talab" check post in Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency, killing a police IB inspector and seriously injuring two policemen.

During the attack, the police opened indiscriminate firing due to fear, killing two passers-by, while the Mujahideen reached a safe place with the help of comrade Allah. Praise be to Allah.

Earlier in the day, an unarmed army raided a place of Mujahidin in Dakki area of Gariom Tehsil, in which 3 occupying soldiers were killed in an early and immediate retaliatory attack by the Mujahidin. Praise be to Allah.

3)Retaliatory attack on army in North Waziristan

(Banu Province, Shewa District)

Earlier in the day, the invading forces ambushed the Mujahideen in Shewa Tehsil of North Waziristan, but a retaliatory attack by the Mujahideen killed four soldiers, including a machine gun, two Kalashnikovs and binoculars were taken by the Mujahideen as booty, Alhamdulillah.

2)Successful attack in South Waziristan

Operation Al-Badr:

(Dera Ismail Khan Province, Sur Rogha District)

At around 6:30 this morning, two vehicles of FC troops came under attack in an ambush in Bangiwala area of Red Rogha Tehsil of South Waziristan. One soldier was killed and seven others were seriously injured. FC vehicles were also completely destroyed in the attack.
In this successful attack, all the Mujahideen survived by the grace of God Almighty, Alhamdulillah.

2)Successful ambush in South Waziristan

At around 9:30 this morning, Mujahidin of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) successfully ambushed two FC patrol vehicles in Bangiwala area of Sararoga Tehsil of South Waziristan in which three FC personnel were killed on the spot and seven others were injured. Seriously injured. FC vehicles were severely damaged in the attack.
In this successful attack, all the Mujahideen remained safe by the grace of Allah. Praise be to Allah
