It can not be denied, that the Pakistani solid fuel rockets Ghaznavi and Shaheen-1 are similar to the Chinese DF-11 missile type. On photos is recognizable, that the Chinese DF-11 and DF-11A by set of some solid fuel segments are built. The DF-11 uses two segments.For the DF-11A is a third segment added. For the Pakistani Shaheen-1 is a further half segment added. All rocket types have the same diameter of 0.88 m. The Shaheen-1 have however a striking extended skirt in the nozzle area, because the missile has another control system and a larger nozzle (?).
On photos is clearly recognizable, that also the Chinese DF-15 and DF-15A by set of several short solid fuel segments are built. Four segments uses the DF-15, and the extended DF-15A uses five segments.All rockets have a diameter of ~1.10 m. The DF-15 missile type is obviously not exported.
Unknown are the Chinese rocket variants M-9 and M-18. They are referred as export variants. So is suspected that the Pakistani Shaheen-1 corresponds to the M-9. The M-18 probably corresponds to the Pakistani Shaheen-2. The Chinese M-18 was allegedly shown at the 1987 Beijing air show. Now I have found Photos of the M-18 missile ! (see below).
The Shaheen-2 is totally different to the DF-11 and DF-15 missile types. The diameter is significantly 1.40 m. China Hexi Chemical & Mechanical Company presents solid motors for first stages with the name L-SpaB.Very capable for the Shaheen-2 is L-SpaB-140B with 1.40 m in diameter and a length of 7.15 m. For the second stage is a shorter solid motor SpaB-140 capable. A candidate for the M-18 is the completely unknown DF-25.

These missiles are 1980s era designs.Even Ababeel is not that advanced ( a good effort though)
However, SPD has gained a lot of experience in Air vehicles by working on Cruise Missiles, Drones, etc.so a solid Aero-Design expertise there.
Hopefully our next BM designs will be more compact.
But Rocket Motor technology is holding our BM program back.
Now the focus is towards Cruise Missile Engines so Rocket Motor technology will be on back-burner for some more time.

We developed S2 , S3 by our own efforts , Ababeel too , reduced the weight of the Ghauri to make a second version of it , Made the S1A and tested diff versions of it and a RV which was a testbed for the Ababeel RV .
I mean don't you guys find it ironic that you claim to make all sorts of fancy alienware tech on your own yet import trucks for TELs for them from china?

Painting imported stuff green makes the average guy across the border think they are industrially and technologically capable enough to pull this off like the big boys country club, but trust me, you've no idea just how extremely backwards economically, industrially and technologically pakistan is both in terms of capability and scale in front of India. Based on energy consumption, pakistani industry is ~30 times smaller than India by output, and unlike India most of your industry is limited to textiles (that too thanks to EU's GSP+ quota for being an LDC). That should give you a rough idea of where ya'll actually stand.

To develop a missile you need vast network of labs for R&D works, testing of the airframe, it's subsystems as well as testing infra facilities for validating the navigation, testing the warhead, terminal ballistics, rocket motors/propulsion, heat shield, apart from a vast supplier base to supply said components and subsystems. This is an oversimplification.
