Mi-26 airframes without the turbines and rotors. Weird.
All packed to go for overhaul?

Ask him to post a pic of Mi-17 crossing Pir Panjal
Safety features like crash worthy seats, automatic fire suppression system, etc (not found on Mi17 used for even Narendra Modi) again saved the lives of 3 crew members. Injured by they have survived.

Military equipment fails too. But Dhruv is a very decent system. Yes there should be a fair and tough enquiry. If this continues, Dhurv will the most tested helicopter for the crash worthy systems.
Seriously have to bring every one to light.
If maintenance was the reason, anyone in maintenance was held responsible?
This should not be considered reason for awarding maintenance of foreign systems to private players.
If so, then PSU made choppers also should be maintained by private players.
All components should be tagged by those handled.. Black sheep should be weeded out.

But no one should try to spin is against Indian efforts to build a helicopter.
People may not remember, so I would just say it. Remember the last video of CDS being taken out from the crash site? Remember the burns on his body?
Well unlike Mi17, the Dhruv has a very decent fire suppression system. And it has even saved the live of a top NC commadar once.
Agree, ALH is a stable platform, but continuous failure will create a bad name in the international market. Now, as we are planning for export. We may need to improve the quality of support staff by providing better training, providing state-of-the art kits to test the machine, use software for maintenance-related activities, and dig up the data to identify the root cause. Maybe the engine is still having some issues. Try with GE engines?Military equipment fails too. But Dhruv is a very decent system. Yes there should be a fair and tough enquiry.

The engine is top notch. We have even almost 100% localised the engine. We can make it without French involvement. But just out of the respect of original agreements, we are not doing so.Agree, ALH is a stable platform, but continuous failure will create a bad name in the international market.
