Like I said to LX1111, Ukraine has to protect the entire Eastern and Northern border regions with that 500,000, they aren't all on the front. Russia also lies about the number it has mobilised, Russians will tell you that mobilisation never ended once it began.

You don't understand the reasons why though. They have to protect several thousand kilometres of border and up to 100k are in training for the next offensive at any time.
