Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Engels was also attacked

This was a big coordinated attack but the question that people are asking... what air defense doing?

:ROFLMAO:
These attacks are like every other day now, it's going to be a very pianful year for Russia. It's going to be a painful decade in fact.

Meanwhile, after the false flag of bombing a non-functional chopper that had been left to rust for decades failed to convince, the Russians in Transnistria have cooked up another blatant false flag to try to paint themselves as victims instead of occupiers.

Next time, they'll target a telephone booth.
I don't know what they're hoping for, Russia can't do jack about Transnistria. Ukraine or Moldova could invade it and return it to Moldova and all Russia would be able to do is watch. Russia's ability to protect Transnistria relied on Ukraine being friendly and providing them access. Moldova and Ukraine could seal up Transnistria like a box and stop anything getting in or out if they wanted.

Valkyrie, really. Try again when you know what you're talking about.

And who says anything about having to do with the Germans? Neo-Nazi ideology is not necessarily linked with Germany anymore. There's just a love of reusing certain iconography, including runes and symbols like the kolovrat. Sometimes with minor aesthetic changes so as to be plausibly deniable, but they only fool those who want to be fooled.

Also you always talk about anti-incumbency but also believe that Putin's approval rating of 392% is legit.

He is popular in Russia. The country is at war, and naturally he's gonna be popular. Especially 'cause he is delivering victories. His approval rating was in the 70s before the war.

Funded by Russia.

Lol.

That's because they got freed of Russian influence very quickly. To the dismay of Russia who, as usual, whines about a supposedly oppressed Russian minority.

No Russian influence => no corruption; no corruption => no Russian influence.

They are still poor and corrupt relatively.

Their only choice is to build more. Su-57's currently at 20 a year. And they are producing a number of Su-30SMs, Su-34Ms and Su-35Ss too. That's about 45 jets. Then the Mig-35 line is expected to ramp up. About 100 jets from 2026, I guess 20 each. So it's a long term threat.

Seeing these rounds is getting more commonplace increasingly...what does Idlib have to do with the war in Ukraine? What's the context?

Enemy of my enemy...
Those "sign my rocket/bomb/shell" things are fundraisers. So one person who hated Russia for what it did in Idlib paid to send this message.

At least it's not completely retarded like the Russians launching bombs with "for crocus hall" on it, since at least the target is the right one in this case.

Seriously, the official Russian narrative is that the Crocus terrorists were going to Kyiv to receive bitcoin. You know, the non-physical currency that is exclusively traded over the Internet. They were going physically to Kyiv to get some physical bitcoins. Russia's lies are so stupid, so blatant, that you can't help but wonder how people still fall for them.

Makes sense.

Every far right party in Europe got its funding from Russia. E.g. the RN in France had borrowed money from Russian bank Aviazapchast.

Much less so than Russia.

Why do you think Russian stole toilets? Do you think people from a rich country would steal toilets? That wouldn't happen unless they're made out of gold or something.

Sure, on average, Russia can seem wealthier. But averages are tricky if you have an extremely unequal country. Russia's poor are much poorer than Ukraine's poor; and Russia's rich are so much richer than Ukraine's rich. Outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the rest of Russia is poorer than Ukraine.

The only road to peace is through Russia's complete defeat.

Otherwise, you won't have peace, at most you will obtain a temporary ceasefire before war starts anew.

Russia does not want long-lasting peace, it wants all of its empire back, and then more. If Russia isn't defeated in Ukraine, the war will only get bigger.

I do agree with you that if Americans were suffering any losses, they would sue for peace instantly. Americans are cowardly surrender monkeys. They surrendered to Somali insurgents when they lost just one copter, they surrendered to Assad when he crossed Obama's "red line", they surrendered to the Talibans, and they have already surrendered to the Russians by entirely stopping their military aid to Ukraine for half a year. If Trump is elected he'll surrender Alaska to Russia in exchange for Putin paying his legal fees, lol.

I blame the Europeans for being weak and dependent.

But if Ukraine receives support, then Russia is very unlikely to win. While Russia is gaining some ground currently, it is only at a snail's pace, and they have huge losses for every meter they crawl. They'll never be able to take control over all Ukraine, let alone the five oblasts they have decided they want. With more air defense and some new fighter jets to counter Russia's bombers and missiles, Russia will be utterly unable to get even the modest gains they can still make currently. And despite their war economy, Russia is still losing hardware faster than it is producing them, which is why they had to buy weapons from Iran and North Korea, and why they are now using Chinese golf carts as an infantry fighting vehicle. Before the golf carts, it was the MT-LB used as IFV; something they're not supposed to be, but they just don't have enough BMPs and BTRs anymore. They've had to resort to using T-54 and T-55 because they can't produce enough new tanks.

For all these reasons, the worst thing that could happen would be attempting some sort of ceasefire before Russia is utterly booted out of Ukraine. They'd only use the time given to build back up their army and would attack anew once they feel they are ready.

If you want peace, Ukraine must win.

Russia's stockpiling and arming itself.

They are preparing for a major offensive with a second army.

Americans attacked non-whites after 9/11. They also attacked Asians during the pandemic. This is normal.

Ukraine’s drone strike destroys 6 aircraft, damages 8 at Russia’s Morozovsk airbase – media

MT Anderson, an OSINT analyst, estimates that the Morozovsk airbase might have had up to 30 Russian aircraft on-site at the moment of the drone assault.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), working in tandem with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, orchestrated a drone attack on the Morozovsk airbase, located in Russia’s Rostov Oblast, according to SBU sources cited by Ukrainska Pravda.

The source also mentioned that the Morozovsk airbase served as a crucial hub for Russian air operations, housing Su-24, Su-24M, and Su-34 bombers. These aircraft have been actively used by Russia to target Ukrainian military positions and frontline cities, causing extensive damage and casualties.

According to OSINT analyst MT Anderson, who examined satellite imagery from 4 April, up to 30 aircraft, including 26 Su-34 fighter-bombers and 3 Su-30/35 multirole fighters, were present at the Morozovsk airbase during the recent drone attack.

At night on 5 April, drones attacked several Russian military airfields at once – in Morozovsk, Yeisk, and Engels. Local residents reported dozens of explosions on social media.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that air defense shot down over 50 drones.

Some serious swarm power being unleashed over Russia I guess.

It will just increase the incentive for Russia to take Odessa. It's better to keep them on their side of the Dnieper.

Primarily due to their relevance to Russia on social and political lines. It has nothing to do with neo-Nazis.

Conservatives in Europe are more likely to have good relations with Russia.

It has a lot to do with these countries being very small and unable to create world-beating companies for the rich to get richer. Russia gets fat on oil wealth. Overall, I don't see the Balkans doing so much better in comparison even after over 25 years of freedom.

I'd love to see them try, especially with the shortage of landing ships they now have.

Not on the same scale. This happened even before the attack in Russia too.

Their last 'batch' of flankers had two aircraft. In the long run, Russia is f'cked and right now NATO and the current US administration is working on doing an end-run around any potential Trump presidency, so he can't stop weapon supplies to Ukraine even if he gets in.
