Ukraine - Russia Conflict

New footage of Russian FPV drones in combat in Ukraine and Donbas. The FPV drones used in combat include the Ovod, VT-40, Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky, Upyr, Boomerang, and other models, including those controlled via fiber optic cable. The exact filming location has not been disclosed. The July video shows drones striking various Ukrainian military equipment and structures. The video also shows Russian drones striking a Ukrainian Leopard 1A5 tank, a Bogdan howitzer, a Humvee, and other vehicles.

Footage of strikes by Russian Geran-4 kamikaze drones on three Ukrainian dry cargo ships, a bulk carrier, and landing craft. The videos were filmed in the port of Mykolaiv in the Black Sea. It's worth noting that due to Russian strikes in the region, ships have stopped calling at Ukrainian Black Sea ports. The strikes on Ukrainian ships are a response to Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian merchant vessels in the Sea of Azov.

Britain will today announce the transfer of intellectual property rights to allow Ukraine to manufacture the Stone Cloak drone EW system, thousands of the device have already been supplied.

Stone Cloak is the size of a tablet computer and generates a short range electronic cloak around the drone that both drastically hinders detection by anti-drone radar as well as blocking drone jamming signals. Stone Cloak will be directly built in to the upcoming Project Brakestop low cost cruise missile.

Inside Ukraine’s Long-Range Strike Campaign with the AGM-188A Rusty Dagger

Russian media and military analysis groups were perplexed by the weapon’s presence deep inside Russian territory, noting its range and survivability against jamming compared to Ukraine’s FP-1 drones that, while still capable, have achieved impact rates below 50%. The weapon featured robust anti-jamming equipment and identifying codes that linked their construction to NATO partners in Europe and the United States.
Rusty Dagger has a 300 nautical mile (555 km) range in low-altitude strikes, and a 500 nautical mile (926 km) range in medium-altitude strikes, giving the missile long reach against targets inside Russia. “[Attacks] are less about occupied Ukraine or Russia, more that the mission planning was design around unrestricted targeting, […] all to allow deep strike well outside of occupied Ukraine.”
