Ukraine - Russia Conflict

Xi Jinping warns Putin not to use nukes in Ukraine and urges peace talks in Chinese leader's most direct rebuke yet to the Kremlin

  • Xi Jinping issued rebuke of Putin's war in Ukraine during summit in Beijing
  • Chinese leader warned Kremlin not to use nuclear weapons in the conflict
  • Xi also urged Germany's Olaf Scholz to push for peace talks as pair met
  • While Xi did not name Putin directly, call for Russia to withdraw, or blame Moscow for the war, it is none-the-less his strongest criticism so far

Since when does Law and Order and Riot Control poison opposition MPs and chuck critics out hospital windows?

Did Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk make secret deals with the KGB to buy/steal state assets for pennies on the dollar at the start of their business careers?

Nobody put missiles in Ukraine, or the Baltics which are equally close. The intention was never to annex Cuba either, just to get rid of the missiles. Cuba remains a pro-Russian socialist dictatorship to this day. Also, what applies when dealing with dictatorships does not apply when dealing with democracies. Checks and balances in democracies prevent rash actions, whereas in Russia, just one lunatic is at the helm controlling everything. It's like having a pro-racing driver at the wheel, vs some teenage cock-sock who's just passed their test.
Obviously it's different, but at the end of the day Russians claim Ukraine, Belarus, Caucasus states and the 5stans to be it's strategic backyard.

And if the US put Pershing IIs in Georgia or something, which would be equivalent to what Russia did in 1962, then I would expect Russia to react to either remove the missiles, or block their commissioning, but not to annex the country. Here Ukraine is being annexed simply for wishing to join the EU and rejecting the EEU.

I am not thinking that Putin have any plan to use a nuke over a non nuclear country. Neither Ukrain had a plan to use a dirty bomb for sure.

All other reports are part of propoganda from western /Russian side.

Roosian military personnel captured an EDM4S-UA anti-drone gun at Ukrainian positions. Earlier, Ukraine received Israeli hand-held UAV suppression systems of the EDM4S-UA type in the Ukrainian modification from the Lithuanian company NT Service. The EDM4S complex is based on a copy of the German G36 rifle. The exact characteristics of the complex have not been published. It is known that it is equipped with 4 directional antennas with a power of 10 watts. With a weight of 5.5 kg. EDM4S suppresses commercial drones at ranges up to 3-5 kilometers for 35 minutes. The EDM4S cost $15,000.

Footage of the explosion on the mine barrier of the BMP-1 of the Ukrainian army and the death of the assault group following it. When properly mined in this way, the mines are located on boards or carts and stretched out in front of the enemy. But in the battles in Ukraine, no one does this and they simply lay rows of mines on the road, as in this case. The driver of an armored vehicle does not always notice these mines, in this case it is strange that an assault group was walking next to the car and she also did not notice these mines.

Footage of Russian 122-mm D-30 howitzers hitting a column of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian army. The column was discovered on the march with the help of a UAV, after which the airborne troops worked out artillery at the given coordinates. About 5 armored vehicles were reportedly destroyed, after which the column dispersed.
