How long before:

Yeah, he'll probably strike a Hong Kong style deal for 50 years, and we know how that went. He's clearly the PRC pick.
@Rajput Lion what happened to the alleged mighty Russian surveillance systems, including the one from devaloka s400?
Reality happened.

A Russian RB-636AM2 Svet-KU mobile radio emission detection system parked behind a home somewhere in Luhansk Oblast was reportedly destroyed. These electronic warfare systems are designed to monitor and track sources of radio signals as well as protect information transmitted over wireless channels from interception.

“Svet-KU” (RB-636AM2) EW system has a purpose of carrying out SIGINT activities and jamming radio and radar signals within the frequency range from 25 MHz up to 18 GHz. The system makes it possible to track a variety of emissions and calculate the source coordinates. RB-636AM2 remains capable of autonomously jamming the GSM, CDMA2000 and UMTS cellphone signals.

The system has been introduced into use back in 2012. Initially it was based on the KamAZ platforms. The manufacturer, OOO “Spetsyalniy tekhniologitsieskoy tsientr” based in St. Petersburg has also presented a variant of the system based on Ford Transit van, which is to allow the user to covertly operate even in traffic on the public roads. When the antenna array system is not extended, the car does not differ from its civilian counterparts.

The extended antenna array may be rotated in a horizontal plane which makes it possible to receive radio signals from any direction. The accuracy depends on the frequency range within which the signal is emitted. In case of the emitters operated within the range between 30 and 100 MHz, 5 degrees accuracy is achievable. For the ranges from 1 to 3 GHz, the accuracy is narrowed down to 2 degrees. The Russians have field tested this system, based on the KamAZ truck, during the operations conducted in the Eastern Ukraine (Luhansk).

When you keep storing ammunition out in the open on airbases. And to think some have argued that Russia is learning from its mistakes during this war.

August 30, 2023: Update on the Robotyne Sector - AFU Forces are on the outskirts of Verbove and moving towards Ocheretuvate as Russian forces withdraw to their next line of defense.Map:
@Majakovsk73
(with my overlays) View of Situation from Ukrainian Side"Our soldiers are successful in the directions Novodanidivka-Novoprokopivka and Mala Tokmachka-Verbove. Fighters are entrenched at the borders reached." — General Staff.

1) AFU Forces have reached the western outskirts of Verbove and are consolodating held positions there. There are indications that the Russians have inserted "holding forces", also called "expendables", to defend Verbove and some portions of their defensive lines to the west. This is an indication that Russian may be pulling back and consolidating its remaining "capable" forces along the second line of defense.

2) AFU forces have made progress southward towards the city town of Ocheretuvate thereby bypassing Novoprokopivka. Russians complain that the Ukrainians appear to have "found artillery shells" and their "stravation" has ended.

3) AFU forces have consolidated their gains south of Robotyne and are protecting their right flank while pressuring Novoprokopivka to the south along the Orikhiv to Tokmak Highway.

View of Situation from the Russian PerspectiveWarGonzo

In the Zaporozhye direction, fierce battles near the village of Rabotino. APU is attacking. Long-range weapons are working on both sides. Also, Ukrainian units, with powerful artillery support, are trying to break through the forest plantations, bypassing the village to Novoprokopovka.

In parallel, they are conducting similar operations to the west of Verbovoye. For the Armed Forces of Ukraine in these areas "all or nothing." For the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation there is a retreat to the next line of defense. Under the blows of Ukrainian units in Lukyanovsky, Stepnoy (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Ugledarsky and Donetsk directions), Shcherbaki, Novodanilovka, Malaya Tokmachka, Charovna and Malinovka.

Russian - in Zherebyanki, Nesteryanka, Kopany, Rovny, Ilchenkov, Sladkaya Balka, Novopokrovka and Novofedorovka. In fact - on a narrow section of the LBS.

These morons are starting a dangerous narrative that the drones came from Estonia or another Baltic state to hide their incompetence
There's some suggestion it was a false flag too. I'm not sure Ukraine has officially taken credit yet.
