so your logic is just bcos some one is committing suicide it is ok to kill them directly as they would die anyway. if you look at the reasons/justifications given when colonization took place one of them was they were making the natives civilized by destroying their civilization!
(This is not just limited to countries, it is the same for religions as well. Each one claims that everyone else are barbarians and they are the ones who know god.)
Problem is that you think we differentiate between nazis and british, well we dont. It is just west's assumption that their propaganda that they are good and others are bad always works. Hard truth is that, winner gets to write the history. If germany had won they would have said the same thing about british.

I don't excuse empires, they were just something that everyone did one time in history. We were invaded and India invaded others before the British Empire was even a twinkle in the then Monarch's eye. You do however overestimate the amount of civilisation present at the time of the invasion. It was very much a frying pan to fire situation at worst and quite possibly the other way round at best.
That's ironic given that you've just described your own posture on the issue of historical wrongs of the British Empire vs current wrongs of the Russian Empire (yes, it's still going really, never ended).

That's the effect of poverty. It was way worse than today during British rule. Stuff like this is basically what we call "poverty" and "destitution". It means poor people die.
What I am talking about is man-made famine. We don't have man-made famine in Indian anymore. It only existed during British rule.
