Wasn't a Triton. They haven't been deployed outside of the United States yet and are slated for their first deployment to Guam later this year. The aircraft shot down in international space was a BAMS-D - a tech demonstrator for what eventually became the MQ-4C.
It's a limited air-frame with limited capabilities. They lack any credible sensor suite. They're nothing like the Triton. It's a low risk loss.
Or USAF BACN.
...
They armed the Houthis with ballistic and cruise missiles, attack tankers flying under our flag, and now shot down an American UAV in international space. Iran's just begging to have their *** kicked.
