How will the UNSC make any recommendation against China when China has a veto ?

But, China will pay a price far bigger than UNSC expulsion.

You listen too much to hype about China.. Answer a question.. Why did China not react when India kicked its teeth in 1967 killing almost 400 chinese soldiers in Sikkim, and then went on to merge independent Sikkim into India..?

Today Indian Infantry can be regarded as the best in Mountain warfare.. There was an article recently, about how even all of China's conventional SRBMs can't have any meaningful impact on the sortie rate of IAF.. and IAF has an inherent advantage over PLAAF, both in the load aircraft can carry, as well as quality of the fighters.. Also, as 1967, 1987, 2017 has shown Indian force posture is enough for dissuasive deterrence even in a purely conventional war.. It's not like when 20000 troops Ill equipped and Ill trained for mountain warfare were overwhelmed by 80000 chinese troops in 1962..

With due respect sir what we are doing in WHO is not standing up, even if there is UN vote there won't be any investigation into origin of Virus and if there is there won't be any effect of it.

If world is serious about tackling China they must introduce some transparency tax in name of Virus to cripple it's economy. Nobody will start a war with China and at first instance of financial loss they will stay away. Only India can be made to sacrifice one thing after other everyone looks for their interest.

India pays for Iran Sanctions of US, India pays for Russia Sanctions, India reduce even food supply to North Korea for US Sanctions, India pays for South China Sea and now we will pay for Virus. In none of these things we are party or have direct implications but we pay and the direct party US Crack favourable deals for this in every single case, giving us what?

Since when did we start thinking everything from military point of view? When rapprochement, diplomacy can yield a thing or two why unnecessarily start thinking for war and confrontation? Military is a handling that security part and deliver whenever needed. This is not Pakistan and we are not asking for talks, some give and take and if it results in something what's wrong with that?

For all our behaviour of being a good boy to west they don't give a damn. It's hard to gather support on terrorist attack! To go this far for them is it worth it?

With confrontation with China we will only lose, we may damage them too but there won't be a thing we will earn and I don't think considering our present situation that will be a wisest step.

But then we wont be able to tell us world how strong we are while world laughs at the images of migrants crying for food.

Indian political leadership is a complete disgrace ,having failed to even take a clear cut stand like Japan, Australia and others .you want Western tech and pitch yourself as the representative of the Free world but can't utter a word against China which is literally slapping you left right and centre be it NSG membership ,Masood Azhar listing ,pok dam ,cpec passing through pok ,Chinese continuous meddling in internal affairs of India , helping Pakistan to men and material.
Still India need casus bellis to even take a stand and expect others to take it seriously.

What has Australia lost by taking on China ,it has only enhanced it's reputation.wheras what we have done ??

Some people pretend here as if modi has all the answer but the fact is he has got his chest measured by the Chinese.
 
It will be interesting to see PLA in actual combat. Their military successes till date have been due to Human Wave tactics. The only time they tried rolling as a modern army, the had a less than spectacular campaign against Vietnam.

They have a lot of gear and a sound scary but essentially the modern PLA is an untested force.

Problem is they demanding something no one can give. You can not appease a bully.
He will keep harassing you until and unless you stand up and break his jaws. You may get hit in doing so , therefore prepare well before doing so.

As you said in your earlier post... we can of course damage China (while suffering damage ourselves), but ultimately it will be the US who will benefit and cut a deal with China... and we will be left holding the can... Unless China says, that part of kashmir under Indian control belongs to Pakistan, there is no justification for India to support Taiwan, and dump the One China policy..
Also Taiwan does not recognize Arunachal pradesh as part of India

Are we prepared?

With all that chest beating we forget China is a nation of 135 billion people, almost 5 times our economy and militarily too is improving a lot. We fortunately well defended by Army and Geography so they may not win but to think we will some how bring China down is not reality.

We are not there yet, we need to keep improving and reduce the gap to have a real shot. Premature ejaculation wont be a nice sight.

No, that’s what worries me. But that doesn’t mean we should surrender our sovereignty to them. They have gobbled up Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Parts of Ladakh and Kashmir and East Turkestan and did not even burped.

@AbRaj, if UNSC brings a resolution with majority against another member, that member can't use its veto. So if four UNSC members vote to throw china out of UNSC, China's veto will have no effect and it will be fait accompli. UNGC after that will be just a passover.

Chinese is an export economy. It generates cash and jobs. With cash they build a useless one road project. Internal consumption is 40 to50%, rest is exported. So do you sea the danger if the customers in Europe and US scared of Coronavirus stop buying Chinese stuff. The factories will be idled, that extra cash will disappear completely. A die has been cast for that to happen. Next three years, manufacturing will exit China and leave them high and dry. The alternative is for them to admit deliberate spread of the virus and pay compensation as Trump is demanding. Either way, future is not bright for China.

Now they will flex military muscle in South and North China Sea. That will be pointless with US around to defend the small nations. India is in a very good position to defend both Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Ladakh . Those thirty years of preparations have yielded results. Chinese need three to five times more troops to do what they did in 1962. Times have changed. Number of troops have undergone a dramatic shift higher. There are tanks artillery and better equipped troops waiting to give chinese a warm welcome. .... afraid of blood nose, they will not come. Prestige is very important to them.

You mean Veto power holders? . Seems highly unlikely. Chinese will certainly try to bribe some of the to scuttle the move.
Chinese are very calculative people.

I’m not worried about an all out war but their Slicing tactic of gradual encroachment of land. Their huge financial and military might provide them cover to do so.

Yes, But who can bribe whom against India? do you know our market size and only member which can be bribed is Russia. Will they vote against India.
