Would be very useful if someone knowledgeable could read the entire NTFC work scope and explain point by point here. Thank you very much

One possible point below I guess is NP5 acting as a pseudo proto for Mk2 systems, and given system LRU commonality probably future TEDBF AMCA etc too ?

DAS, I'm guessing stands for 'defensive aids sub system' and not 'distributed aperture system'? Can't be sure though because Mk2 is/will be a testbed for proving a lot of the tech that will make its way into AMCA in future.

Nope, just the data acquisition system, part of sensor systems trial means data collection. DAU is data acquisition unit.
the tech part is true, most are common LRU between the 3 projects.

IAF desperately needs Mk2 ASAP. Tejas Mk2 and Astra will outclass anything porks have currently.
Believe or not, but they were looking to buy J-36 until China refused. However, they will most definitely procure J-35 by the end of this decade and KAAN in the next-decade. They might even increase J-10CE's numbers in their servicee. MK2 in huge numbers is required to serve as our future backbone and their J-10 counter.

We will need AMCA & Su-57 to dominate their 5th gens though.

They wanted J36???? 🤣🤣🤣. I admire their confidence. @LX1111 dear comrade it seems your ally wants J36 please do give it to them, we will see whether it is capable of withstanding a hangar collapsing on it lol.

Wtr to J35, I think with networked fighters (Su30 MKI UPG, Rafale, Tejas Mk1a Mk2 all being networked like the way we saw the test where one Tejas detected the target and made another Tejas fire at it), Netra Mk1A and MK2 AWACS, VHF radars and AESA seeker guided Astras we can stop it from penetrating our airspace and also get a potential firing solution on it. Present Houthis incident showed even something like F35 is not invulnerable and J35 is not as stealthy as F35. We need to make our IADS and AWACS capability far more robust and induct Su30 MKI UPG and Tejas MK2 en masse however, but now it's looking like AMCA itself will have IOC by the time Su 30 MKI UPG enters service and Tejas Mk2 production reaches +20 jets. Considering J35 will come by 2027, before Netra Mk1a even IAF will be in serious trouble if next clash comes before Netra MK1a, Su 30 MKI UPG and Tejas Mk2.

kaan will be expensive for poorkies,
perhaps it will be inducted in limited numbers like single squadron in multi year production.
as Pakistani air force has only 2 billion yearly budget LOL
out of entire defense budget of 10 billion 40% is eaten by army ha ha
