Till the MCD and local Police Dept. do not take the initiative to assess conditions for themselves, such incidents will keep happening. Corruption and local malpractice will need to be rooted out by the State Govt. Saddening incident. However, there is still time to implement proper policies and enforce them regularly. I hope the Delhi Govt. listens and takes corrective actions.

Brut India is the fastest-growing digital video publisher in the country. We're a young, independent platform producing compelling journalism in new formats.

Brut that claims to be an independent outlet is actually backed by a French company. Brut India is owned by CMA Media which a French media outlet.

I fail to understand how these companies create channels and outlets that claim to be independent. Not only is it not independent but happens to be owned by an intl. media company.

A devastating fire at a hotel in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar has claimed at least 21 lives. In the wake of this tragedy, Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has ordered an extensive, month-long campaign to enforce fire safety regulations across the capital. Starting June 4, the large-scale safety exercise will focus on high-risk commercial establishments, including hotels, lodges, inns, nursing homes, coaching institutes, and restaurants.

Man government should put some financial penalties for this on them. Fake news can make a lot of people's investment go to waste..and Gloomberg isn't doing this for the first time. They are a repeated offender.
I have not seen any counter measures being adopted by either Information Broadcasting officials or intervention by other GoI affiliated organisations. The PIB account or RBI can indeed put out clarifications. However, there are no guidelines that prevent outlets from running similar articles. As you stated, accountability is lacking and there seems to be little movement from the GoI regarding such issues. The PMO itself had run a fact check against a CNBC report that had cited "sources" and posted it to their X account. However, from what I remember, an apology was posted and the post deleted....that was the end of it.

Ig government doesn't want to get into legal battles over these things 🤔

The posts often contained synthetic content. Originated abroad. The SG Gov. took swift action post reporting.

Singapore has blocked access to 14 social media posts that contained inflammatory claims against its Indian community and threatened the nation's racial harmony. Second Home Affairs Minister Edwin Tong says the government has to act firmly and reject attempts from people who wish to harm the country. He urges Singaporeans to be discerning and question the source or intention of such content.
