Indeed. And that mean that unlike AMRAAM, Meteor can't be used as a 'second choice' short range missile.
Pakistan Navy test fires an indigenously developed multi role Cruise Missile system. This missile is based on the Babur Cruise Missile family. It was fired from an indigenously built Fast Attack Craft. The missile is capable of destroying targets, both at sea and land.
The video seems to be for indicative purpose, but chatter on peedeaf suggests a sea to surface missile. Not sure if they actually have any *indigenously built* Fast Attack Crafts though

Its their long standing wet dream - to avenge Operation Trident and Operation Python from 71. Only India has come a long way in real time surveillance now and chances of this attack working are pretty slim.
Imagine if Pakistan was at our position, they would have not just stopped water they would have poisoned it. They would have destroyed us by now.

doesn't matter. Water, Air, Food- war, even nuclear war is justified. Indus Water Treaty has provided a sable solution for decades. It should continue. f**k them in every other way. But keep hands off this.
Why hit the nooclear button if the all-spectrum hybrid offensive defence approach is serving us well. Bakistan is perfectly capable of self-destruction without any external assistance. We just catalyse the process.
Another important aspect is to create a counterforce arsenal of nuke weapons over the next decade and half.The huge facility in chellakere bodes well in this regard.
What we need is an arsenal of 300-400
nuclear warheads and then stop.4 ssbns each with 12x4 or 16x3 MIRV slbms with range to hit chinese mainland is main priority.With 4 you will always have one on patrol with 48 warheads..enough to finish han heartland or destroy pakistan entirely.
Thus 192 warheads are needed.
2ndary force should be combination of 100-150 road mobile Agni 6 icbm and Agni3/4 irbm .Finally a couple dozen nuclear glide bombs and air launched cruise missiles for manual delivery by aircraft.
Then we need to remove no first use doctrine to make the Pakistanis crap their pants.
We dont need megaton weapons as with improved accuracy 200-300kt weapons can do the job easily.With removal of no first use it will give us the option of a massive pre emptive strike on their nuke facilities if we detect a pak nuke strike coming.With so many warheads we will have potential to destroy bulk of their nuke forces outright.This forces them to increase their warheads to increase chances of survival of enough assets to survive a pre emptive strike which will be financially crippling.
Now of the 120 warheads they have it must be noted that a significant portion are small pataka tac nukes with sub kiloton yields unlike ours where all are strategic countervalue weapons.
Biggest yield weapons they have are 20-40kt fission devices which they would need multiple numbers of to take down a modern city.Here if we start deploying missile shield even with 50% interception probability it will double the number of warheads they would need to maintain a credible deterrent.
The ballistic missile shield thus is a big headache for pakistan.
A combination of these measures i feel would draw the atomi gernails into an nuclear arms race with a bankrupt economy and collapse them .What is now needed is -1.The technology to mature so that such long range missiles can be deployed in mass
2.The vision and willpower by political leadership to withdraw no first use.
3.Deployment of BMD shield on all vital cities and facilities around India.
4.Building our own economy so that such an expansion is natural and doesnt end up burdening ourselves economically.
