And they are receiving grants from the government. More of a public venture than private.

Anyway I didn't see anything being said about public private venture in the official press release.
Nope. It's actually more of a private venture with government assistance. We have lots of billionaires here, we don't need to let 1% of the population die of malnutrition every year to make satellite launches possible.

Butt-hurt much ? Have a good cry about our margins when PSLV launches your satellites tomorrow

Truth hurts ? Look up the funding your much vaunted spaceplane have received.

We are a low cost economy & and we don't have to start from scratch to develop a RLV. Much unlike some little island.

But good luck with 'world leading space launch market'.
Yes, the truth does hurt. In fact it kills, it kills millions of Indians every year for the sake of the Indian space program.

This coming from a country with most expensive public projects like HS2 is quite ironical. :ROFLMAO:
Perhaps you should try upgrading your own railways once in a while.

We're not butt-hurt at all. It's not us that is dying of malnutrition with chronic diarrhoea in the masses. Now that really and truly is butt-hurt.

That's what retards like you think. Meanwhile you are paying us for accessing space.

Keep believing that without even knowing the pricing of the launchers.

Now pay again for the next launch.
It's a known fact. But even what little money you get from us, you won't be getting in a few years and you'll still have the same sanitation problems that you have today because public money, and borrowed public money, with interest being paid on it. I hope you factored that in.

And if we're being honest, all the technology was developed from Russian technology anyway. That's why you're still buying foreign jets, jet engines and subs. You know I'm right but you can't admit it can you?

Says a Brit without diarrhoea.

Already being done for the first time in 100 years you mean.

Naah...given the state of that dilapidated meter gauge network we inherited, even the present network is a big improvement.

And if we're being honest, all the technology was developed from Russian technology anyway

Awww look the *censored* simply can't stand the fact that Indians have space launch capability but British don't..

What happened Anglo boy, does that go against your concept of racial superiority?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Now show me a Russian LV with large solid boosters.

But even what little money you get from us

Little money because Little Britain don't have many satellites to launch...

you won't be getting in a few years

By that time Brits would have their own launchers... What is the timeline ? 2060 ?

and you'll still have the same sanitation problems that you have today because public money,

Which is already being solved, a fact verified by WHO.

And that money will go into developing cheaper & reusable launchers. Which you simply can't and won't develop.

We don't use food items like rice or wheat in space programmes. So, I would not say this.

The space launch are quite cheap and costs just about $30 million to launch a earth observation satellite. Indian railway carries 25 million people every day in addition to goods. So, don't underestimate the railway capacity of India. It still needs upgradation and that is also being done in reasonable budget

India makes Al31FP engine as Russia has given full ToT. Not even 1% import is there for it. Similarly, Su30 is made in India. We don't mind using Russian technology as Russia gives India ToT unlike other countries.

Indian space launcher will become even cheaper with latest solid fuel rocket which will cost barely 3-4 million per rocket.

No but you do use money, which could be used for food and basic sanitation.

Making a foreign engine with instructions doesn't count.

If you'd developed it yourself you'd be flying your own fighters with your own jet engines. Show me any other nation launching satellites that doesn't have its own jet fighters, powered by their own jet engines.

It has nothing to do with race, so don't turn into Serena Williams please.

We'll be launching them ourselves soon. The timeline was alluded to in the links.

'Being solved'. This is the 21st century and you're solving sanitation problems.

We can and will and we'll do it without Russian help or copying, and we'll do it whilst maintaining a decent standard of living and building our own fighters, ships, jet engines and submarines.

Yes, with people on the roof of trains. Safety standards are also strong in India I see.
