Statement of Work for the Design, Development and Supply of Auxiliary Engine Control Switch (AECS) for AMCA

Project Duration: 24 months.

AMCA is configured with single lever throttle controlfor twin engine operation. This single lever TQA enables usage of un-split throttle grip. This TQA drives both engines (LH and RH) together during its operation. In case of individual engine operation such as single engine starting/operation/ shutdown, Auxiliary Engine Control Switch (AECS) is proposed to be used. The AECS functionalities includes OFF, IDLE, NORM and FIX, these positions are necessary to manage individual engine control on AMCA aircraft.

Auxiliary Engine Control Switch (AECS) is an analog hardwired device that shall be interfaced with engine FADECs and EEMS. AECS is located on the LH-Console of the cockpit, beside the TQA. It also has 2 lamps on LH and RH control knobs respectively for Engine fault indication.
