Xinhua is the official Chinese news agency. What i feel is GT is a troll agency by PLA to create confusion among other countries. Since its a government owned their reports can be taken as an official statement of pla, but at the same time it can be ignored since its not an official pla news agency.
Entire Europe fears Russia and southeast Asia china. Both of them has even made territorial advances with west as a bystander. Be it ukraine or SCS.
Even the Chinese don't take GT seriously. Its like the world confusing Arnab as India's official spokesperson because he uses English.
Pakistani officials it ISPR or diplomats routinely uses nuclear threat as a state instrument. There is a difference.
