I think for AWACS it should be fine to use AIR India Aircraft but for Refueler there may be a change in airframe structure or maybe a stronger landing gear ...

In airline service, an aircraft is utilised for over 10 hrs every day with an annual utilisation of over 3300 hrs. But in IAF service, they will not be used for more than 1500 hrs in an year.Ok, then its fine....

So the 360 deg coverage AWACS will go to Airbus 330 and the additional IAF requirements for netra type aews will be fulfilled with Air india aircrafts instead of embraer aircraft? Is it like that or that pic is just a representation type?
