Let me tell you a simple fact.
Marriage is a union with a purpose to look for a partner of opposite gender in order to experience the 24 hour cycle, repeatedly and better than the previous day. Each partner comes into this partnership with his/her own preconceived expectations to seek fulfillment of his/her desires.
What’s the limit of these powers?
It is limitless. It is like the Shiva-Shakti. The power of Vishnu who governs the Universe. The bearer of the supreme Knowledge - Saraswati. And so on. They always offer it for the benefit of the universe without any misuse. And all these powers are one and the same thing - adwait. For convenience of our understanding for pursuing specific goals, we classify them.
But that should not be your focus now, because it is the ultimate. First, you need to start understanding yourself - the main cause of your incarnation.
It is very important to understand that the purpose of our birth is to attend several classrooms on planet Earth. Society evolves with time. What you may have done out of knowing or ignorance two lives back, you may probably will not do it in this life time. Let's say you lived in the middle of 19th century. Knowledge was scarce, and so you lived with limited information, limited resource and had no way of separating and understanding fact from fiction. Your "action" then were guided by what you were empowered with. The stronger and powerful you were, there could have been a tendency to exploit and misuse for personal gratification and fulfillment of personal desires at the expense of miseries, pain and obstruction to others. And so, in the current life you play the observe part of the coin. Roles reverse. This is a never ending game, unless one gets out of the gravity of the situation, like India is currently going to do with Chandrayaan-2 and get out of the control of Earth's gravity.
In the present life, ignorance is less possible. Because of the intense awareness and access to information. One can become a social butterfly and drown into the present day culture of SM and Google and all the myths that come with it (it is all different form of the same prakriti - which is basically illusionary). On the other hand, with skeptism, one can question every so called "modern maayavi" stimulus that is poked to you through your eyes or ears to transform your brain.
And the cause for every human birth is the unfulfilled desires. They get fulfilled at their own pace, or sometimes never. It is all dependent on the seed (current Karma) we sowed and in what environment (the net worth of Karmas and its outcome you have accumulated over several lives). Like sowing a mango seed in the Thar desert and hoping to get bountiful of mangoes in future. It is not going to happen. So in this case you desired a fruit of mango but you had created such circumstances over your past lives, that you now have access only to desert.
The karma we did along with creates the seed, with focus on fulfillment of our desires. It is like how we close our account books every year with a P&L and a Balance Sheet and keep carrying forward our assets and liabilities as well as enjoy the fruits in the form of profits and dividends. Same applies to Karmas of our lives.
This universe is a very intelligent entity. It keeps record of every action and inter-action - of every type - physical, sensory, mental, intellectual & spiritual. And the assets (punya or otherwise) are carried forward in every life time and the fruits are disbursed during some lifetime as they ripen. We casually call it fate. More later.

Knowledge of astrology has found to be nearly 82% accuarate which is higher than the 75% accuracy of present day medical science. people do not believe it. Just the way we have quacks, we have false astrologers who bring bad name to our science.
When you go to a Doctor, he asks you for symptoms, then asks you to get a few checks done to find what exactly is wrong with you and after that he prescribes medicines. But in astrology, people want the astrologer to straight away give out his predictions. It does not work that way even in astrology.
If a person comes to an astrologer, he will be asked his date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. After that the Kundali will be prepared. Based on the Kundali, a few questions will be asked to see the way the various aspects and planets have behaved for a person. But some very specific events will shine thru in the Kundali. Like my two ejections from fighters are very clearly given in my Kundali including the dates. They are reflected as near death experience resulting from accidents. But an astrologer will not know that the accident was from an aircraft. he will know that my life was under threat and where all I will recieve the injuries.
He will know the panch tatva to which my profession will belong to. Like my tenth house is Aquarious, an air sign which governed by Saturn which also is responsible for technology, computers, analysis as a lawyer, as a spy and also as an oil business. If aspected by bad planets, it can also make a person become dalal of women or become a person who deals in commissions.
I will suggest that you start by reading Bhrigu Samhita followed by Parashari. That will give you a lot of correct information provided you are able to remember everything.
Let me share an incident about two years old.
One of My neighbours is a baniya who loves food and that too food which gives lots of gases in the stomach. I had seen his Kundali about four years back and advised him to be particular about what he eats and his digestion. His kundali showed me that he was supposed to die of diabeties as a result of poor digestion and multiple organ failure. I also could read the year in which he was supposed to die.
One night at about 2am in the night, one year ago, I got a call from his wife that he is having pain in the heart and she wanted me to take him to a hospital as the ambulance would have taken sometime to arrive. I sprang up from my bed and put him in my car and drove him to the hospital. By then, every relative had been informed and they all also reached Apollo hospital in Delhi. Some were crying and this guy was like, "Bro, I am Gone, please take care of my family like a good neighbour".
I told him, "You can't die today and You will never die of heart problems,". My wife generally carries hingoli with her. I asked her to give two of them to him. The Doctors arrived and they asked for money to do examination of his cardio system thru that proceduce called Angioplasty analysis. By then he had these two hingolies. he gave out gas which made even the Doctors run away from the room. All the pain was gone. he was fit and fine. yet he was made to go thru angioplasty which showed 25% blockage in one of the arteries and he was prescribed Ecosprin to remove the clot. The cost was INR 150k.
he was discharged the next day. he came over and cursed the doctors for taking away his money. he said if only I had listened to you. Iasked him what all he had to have so much of gas in him? he told me that went to a marriage, has gol gappas, chat-paadi and Rajmah-chawal followed by choley-bhatura." I told him that after that if he had attached himself to a gas cylinder, he would have saved money.
Do you know the after effect of it?
I had all his other friends and relatives drive down to my house asking to do astrological analysis for them. I had to politely turn them away. AND it was very sad thing to do. They thought that I was being too costly. They even offered money. I just told them that I can't do it and if I do, I will be defying my forefathers and invite Pitrudosh. Pitrudosh flows to even children. My generations will suffer who are not even born today and will be born in future.
