These are trained combatants, that is a well-coordinated kill box, if you listen carefully there are coordinated reloads, with a LMG providing sustained fire.

BRAS units can be considered as the elite troops of Baloch Militant groups.

Those are selected from best Fighters of BLA, BLF, BRG & BRA for selected operations. Usually, Baloch Fighters rarely execute close ambushes. They usually take positions few hundred meters away from the roads. But here they set ambush really close to the roads.

This should be a cautionary tale for us. Especially for CRPF moving in buses in Naxal prone areas. Mraps and in India context Transport Helis, Surveillance drones, EW Jammer Vehicles, and ground intell during deployments, changeovers etc is essential.

Who is training them? NDS? Do they have enough money to do unconventional warfare in Pakistan? RAW?

Don't know, but someone is.
If you ask a Pakistani, they will point fingers at R&AW. If you ask Afghan, they will say Iranians, If you ask Iranians they will say NDS through american money.

Covert stuff is quite beyond my wheelhouse, I have no clue of who does what and why. What scares me is tit for tat reaction of Pakistanis to what they perceive as Indian action. They will try their hand at retribution with what they can do best, attacking soft targets in Afghanistan or in India like universities, schools, bazaars, or public transport.

What interests me more is placing ourselves in a killbox situation and the mitigation that would be needed for such a situation. @Falcon could shed light on roads in remote areas in Kashmir which can pose such threats, as well as Naxal affected areas. Drones with forward-looking infrared cams to show human presence, maybe Jamming vehicles to softkill IED's.

The biggest fear for me remains is the Soft top transport trucks as well as buses used to ferry around CRPF troops. This is something that should weigh upon the Home Ministry as well as the army brass. If we are using Buses ensure these are modified to provide as much as safety from small arms to the Occupants, Engine, transmission, and Steering. In addition incorporate riot type ballistic shields, and larger convoys. Instead of 7.62x54R PKT rifles, incorporate gun mounts for 12.7mm NSV or 50calM2's on the lead and trailing vehicles, maybe even remote turrets with enough stopping power to for hardkill of a Pulwama type suicide vehicle.

We should be ahead of the curve rather than trying to play catch up. Cut budget on shit like shinmawa M2 amphibious aircrafts and crap we do not need and focus of areas where we lack. Stryker or Kestrel APC as fighting vehicles for troop movement could be options for us as well as good Mraps or Light Armored vehicles like Mahindra ALSV, Tata Merlin LSV, Mahindra MPV etc.

These are good buys for forces that need to happen right now. @randomradio what's happening on the armored vehicles front for IA and Home Ministry? any clue.

I'm Indian and 6'3".... I know a guy who is 6'6".. But that rifle looks like a USMC M16 from Afghanistan.( ACOG, M203 UBGL and all.) Looks like an Afghan. The dude speaks pretty good English in the video. But that's all propaganda. Real trainer would not wanna appear on a propaganda video.

I'm not saying Indians aren't over 6' but that's unusual for Indians. Most folks in the armed forces that I know of are between 5'8 & 6'1 with NE soldiers being the exception.

This particular trainer in the video just didn't sound Indian nor was his body language imo. Most probably backed by NDS but there's a possibility for RAW's involvement as well
