SK has indigenous seeker-equipped missiles like Hyunmoo-3, Haeseong-2 etc. in service. There is no reason to assume that they do not have seeker tech for this missile.I would think of all things SoKo would have have seeker tech.

Because they will now export to other countries of a tech we already possessed. And not only that it will most likely be superior to ours..Tech like Brahmos give us huge political leverage like the Chinese did with their ballistic missile and cruise missile tech exporting.
We should atleast export a down graded version of the agni 1 or prahaar missile in SEA..
Who knows? Russians don't seem to have any grip on there own tech or their objectives anyways. So you're saying the Russians will allow Korea to export it?
If the missile doesn't contain Russian hardware, the Russians will have no say. The KM-SAM Cheongung, developed similarly with Russian tech transfer, was exported to the UAE.So you're saying the Russians will allow Korea to export it?

If Korea's military procurement history is anything to go by, so is the supersonic missile. The KM-SAM is mostly Korean

Yes, that is ambiguous as of now.Korea has the capability to replace the motor on the SAM, but the question is whether they have the same for the ramjet.
We are not a rogue nation like north korea to export Agni BM to foreign countries,by mocking MTCR.Because they will now export to other countries of a tech we already possessed. Also, the Koreans apparently have a separate air-launched 400mm supersonic anti-ship missile in development for the KF-21.
So.....Brahmos is a Korean copy?![]()

From 2011:
The Republic of Korea is developing a supersonic cruise missile to defend the country against threats from the navies of neighbouring countries.
The government source said, “Think tanks like the Agency for Defense Development have been developing a supersonic anti-ship cruise missile for some years now.”
“They’re expected to complete development in three to four years at the earliest,” The Chosunilbo quotes the source as saying.
Based on Russia’s Yakhont missile, the missile will have a range of 250km-300km and can achieve speeds of up to Mach 2.5.
The cruise missile can be used to attack aircraft carriers, Aegis ships and other modern submarines.
Yup, we did manage to time travell back then,to copy this.So.....Brahmos is a Korean copy?![]()
Why Sri Lanka Thailand or Fiji , champ ? What exactly is the nature of threats they're facing which Maldives Bangladesh Mauritius Somalia Kenya Tanzania Seychelles or Ethiopia isn't facing ? Why not the latter bunch of countries too ?Good news. I think, India should also offer Sri Lanka and Thailand, Brahmos. Not just that, India should also deploy it in Fiji. Another thing should be to prioritize UCAV launched version.
They reported wrongly as Nirbhay test,I guess. Some one had already pointed out it.
