As mentioned above. These are service specific systems.

QRSAM - Army
Akash-NG - Airforce
VL-SRSAM - Navy

They have same roots but are tailor made. We only have two tri-service missiles as of now - Brahmos and MRSAM. In future it will also include LR-LACM.

Prithvi is for tri services, no matter they rename with dhanush :D

Little more from qrsam and other prospects, mixed bag of things , more orders are always there esp with LRSAM MRSAM ongoing

The Kamorta class design was apparently inspired by the German K130 corvette with its distinct X hull form as seen from the front. The Germans though did away with the traditional smoke stack and chose a concealed exhaust close to the waterline. Probably reduces the IR signature.

In our case, we're using the traditional funnel even on much smaller ASW-SWC corvettes. Leaves less deck space for mission equipment. Any operational benefits of this arrangement?

I covered the audio, it says MFR X band. The VL-SRSAM FCR is a four-face X band radar (1.5×1.5m), larger than the 2258 Alpha.

Bids are open for NGC, GRSE has placed its bid.
If it's in the 5000t displacement range, we're looking at a future replacement for the Talwar class (+ Brahmaputra class -far better option than re-engine those tired old hulls)

It will be harder for us to sustain the Talwars if the Russians bomb Zorya Mashproekt (supplier of the GT engine) into oblivion. Unless we go to the Russians have localized the GTs on their own ships. I think it's called MR90.
