only 21+lakh votes have been counted out of 92 lak polled. still 70 lakh votes to be counted. Hold on. It is not done yet.
It's neck to neck fight on many seats. AAP grabbed 53% of vote share till now while BJP is at 40%. Anything can happen.
If you recall my older posts, I had very clearly stated that congress must get above 10% votes for BJP to win. And it seems that congress has transferred all its votes to AAP. Once any Party gets over 50% votes, it sweeps the polls. Here AAP is above 52%.
Delhi has about 12% muslim votes and they have voted enmass for AAP. This 10% vote share difference is due to muslims only. I am still hopeful that it will be about 38-32 between AAP and BJP.
Out of 4 lakh extra votes of AAP, nearly 1.5 lakh are from high muslim population constituencies.
AAP would have crossed 36 even without Muslim voters. Minority votes are somewhat irrelevant in these elections. BJP did not have a face and most Delhi people were sold on freebies. Could you shed light on delhi being the only govt with surplus budget inspite of the freebies?
Delhi government is quiet well off financially
Other states CANNOT replicate this Freebies model
Delhi does not have surplus. Delhi owns central govt over 7k crores for various schemes. They are refusing to pay up. Plus a lot of money was earned as pollution tax, over 2k crores from trucks entering Delhi.
Although Kejriwal government has brought down debt... Statistics are not available for the current financial year when most freebies are given. But, even then it would be much better than several other states...
Delhi is a City and a State both
The Centre takes care of Law and Order
And many other expenses including infrastructure expenditure
Metro was made by Central Government
The Peripheral Highways ,National highways , Airport ,Railways are all made
By Central Government
Kejriwal has benefitted by his micro level
Programmes ie health education
Transport
Congress is loosing badly with 4 percent
Votes
And Now Kejriwal wants to be PM in 2024
So he will campaign in HINDI BELT As
An alternative to Modi and RAHUL both
At least Kejriwal is an IIT ian and Has
Worked as CM For a long time
Rahul should accept KEJRIWAL as
PM candidate from the opposition
The Biggest question is that
Should BJP have brought CAA before OR
AFTER DELHI ELECTION
They brought CAA because
They expected Polarisation due to
CAA , but it did not happen
Now this is the failure of CAA as an election tool
Folks if Khujiwala is thinking to go for PM after this years performance than he is a massive fool. Remember this, He held 67 seats in 2015, now he will hold some 57-60 odds seats. This is after giving the most generous freebie. His freebie model cannot scale. Let him try it in few states and fail miserably.
For people of India, it is a good thing. This will force BJP to move from a goverment based on a wave of legislations to actual execution and economy.

In 2020 he will likely get 58-60.

Congress has been reduced to a vestigial twin of regional parties of every state. They are isolated in Delhi.
Kejriwal will Not sit quiet after this victory
Although 2024 is quiet far away
He will go after Both Rahul and Modi
And put Rahul on the defensive
He will aim for a Gowda or Gujral like position in 2024
Kejriwal is a Good Orator
So he will tour the Hindi Belt for positioning himself
