Future Combat Air System (FCAS) - France/Germany

That look a little too small for a pilot if it's to scale. Maybe Macron can fit though.:ROFLMAO:

Scale model means 1:1.

I think it will be the sole tempest ever : a 1/1 scale.

Neither did you. The TSR2 was actually a great aircraft. Theoretical top speed of Mach 3.0, whereas the Mirage III V was a poor attempt at building a Harrier competitor and a waste of 9 engines.
There are always a lot of theory in the british projects....
And no, it was not Mach 3 : "Tactical Strike Reconnaissance, Mach 2" = TSR-2 a speed never reached in air test.

Another failure alone? Nimrod upgrade.

BAC TSR-2 - Wikipedia

Its theoretical maximum speed was Mach 3 in level flight at 45,000 ft (14,000 m).[61]

Nimrod MRA4 was the engineering equivalent of trying to raise the dead, except after a Raccoon has ate parts of the corpse.

Reactions: Bon Plan
The Western Museum of Flight just called, they would like their YF-23 back. No questions asked.

You can expect the TD to carry fins until the TVC is tested and finally integrated on to the prototypes. The TD will require extensive aerodynamic testing after all.
It'll have fins. Even in the government video it has fins.
