India-Bangladesh relations.

India letting Hasina in and letting her live was already a bad look. Hasina is a weak & pathetic wannabe dictator that shouldve never left her country. Lost all her credibility with that 1 stupid move. Proved to everyone that she was India's puppet.

Your post is less mature than the one you replied to. We can't be seen abandoning allies. Or who will ever become one in the future? Did you forget Viktor Yanukovych is in Russia?

Hasina failed to predict this outcome and failed to prepare for it. Of all the countries in the Indian subcontinent, only BJP and PA can prepare for such things.

Protecting her gives us credibility for indirect rule via Hasina's support base. As long as her support base is big, India will be seen as the legitimate thekedar of the country and we will continue to be seen as the protector and liberator of BD.

People keep forgeting that 80% of BD voted in 2018 and 75% of the voter base voted for Hasina. She won 85% of the seats. What, you think people have changed their minds overnight? Children and youth who remember the cyclone and the Liberation War are still alive today. They remember the violence and death of the time.

The people of BD hate the ones in power today. They are the same ones who boycott polls and then threaten and attack voters at polling stations. Apply a little pressure from outside, all these people will get strung up by the common folk as they have been consistently doing since 2008 at the voting booth.
