Was there an attempt in first place???? Probably you have your answer there

That's the exact point what I am saying... Is MKI could have done something different if it would have been equipped with Meteor or AIM 120D instead of R77.

I used to follow this Saikat Datta on twitter a lot. He is known Modi hater(probably more than our Boxer Rajdip & his gang). In his Modi hate, he can go to any extent. I first un-followed him and later blocked to preserve my peace of mind. These were the guys who convinced me to stay away from Twitter but current conflict forced to be back (sigh).

If we see the history since days of Alexander and later Islamic invasions: we haven't lost because of those outsiders and their might but, it was always the case of one or more Jaichands aiding them which pegged us back. In this conflict also we have several Jaichands aiding the enemy, lets be alert and call them out at times to avoid any damage.
This has nothing to do with modi

Well depends on ROE... They were defensive and I dont think we intendend to shoot PAF in their air space. .....If the intention of Su 30 were different then probably we may not have had this conversation here....

If MKIs are not able to engage in BVR since AIM 120C is a better missile than R77 we may need to upgrade our fleet asap. We will have the edge after Rafel that's for sure.

Incorrect as already explained earlier. Anyone claiming it merely on the rationale of multiple AIM-120C launches as opposed to none of R-77 in a BVR setting with active jamming by either side is merely distorting the context of what limitations are imposed on BVR engagements in an actively jammed environment while absolutely disregarding it.

If recent info from my source is correct then Pakistani F-16 was stuck by 3 missiles, 2 from su30mki R77ve and one from wing co Abhinandan's mig21...☺

Figment of imagination.

No R-77s were fired. If fired IAF certainly didnt fire any, so source of the fired missile needs to be ascertained.

01 x R-73 was the only missile fired by IAF. It struck the F-16 disabling it.

Possibility of F-16 being struck by PAF A2A or PA AD SAMs, has been mentioned as a reason for grant ing of 'assist kill' to them of their own aircraft earlier.

Situation Depends on R-77 Version IAF Su-30 MKI carrying At the Time of Scramble And It Also depends on PAF AWACS Spot jamming that Negate Solutions To IAF Fighters

MKI also use R-27EA, active radar homing with 9B-1103K active seeker, range of >130 km
Which has Same NEZ of Aim-120c

Also R-77T or RVV-TE is Infrared Homing Missiles Which are Compatible for Work With IRST OLS-30.Missile range 90 km

We can also Negate Missile factor by ordering Fresh RVV-MD or K-77 from russia

Most Stupid Assumption is about Mig-29 UPG.It is the most advanced fighter in IAF inventory Armed With AESA DRFM And IRST

Its RCS is comparable to F-16

Its Availability rate Bigger than MKI's as per CAG

Draw an arc of 1500NM from Mumbai coast and see what all it covers and where all are the enemies of Israel located. You will get your answer. Also please read the agreement signed between India and Israel in delhi about sharing satellite information.
