Mig-21 will go down in the history for having defeated the three most produced fighters of America, F-4s in Vietnam and F-104, F-16 in India. All these aircraft were produced in large numbers compared to any other third gen Jet fighter barring A-4 skyhawk.
But how will they decode the blackbox of Mig-21 Bison. They dont have the codes for that and no other country flies them.

Yesterday, when the FP article was published every major outlet gave it space and if IAF didnt gave a briefing after today's Imran Khan tweet Rahul Gandhi would have picked it up.
This is election season the sooner the misinformation is killed the better. People will try everything to milk it for election and the casualty will be armed forces.
They are still trying to salvage whatever they can to create doubt again, IAF needs to keep journalists in loop, trickling down of Information, little bit here, a little bit there will be enough to derail this campaign and keep them occupied till election lasts. I think they are more scared about their dogma that hardware matters more than the software (pilots). Because if it is the opposite, they won't be able to justify cutting pilot training programme funds for the sake of buying more overpriced crap.
