Military leaders (Ataturk) or authoritarians (Xiaoping, Lee Kuan Yew) don't necessarily have to be bad for a country. But Pakistan is too morally and intellectually bankrupt a country to produce such leaders, that too from its military, which is incredibly greedy, self-serving and unprofessional.
It also stems from a culture of servitude. Please name a single empire established by a Punjabi Musalmaan. He's been a soldier, a peasant, a petty tradesman and a lay preacher all his life. For generations. What do you think will happen once this man gains a higher station in life? Will he improve his lot or think about lofty ideals like nation building and socio economic improvement of his people.

As per twitter, one another meeting of Army brass taking place today. If LoC quite then why so many meetings along with one on one meetings between IK and Bajwa? If Senior members can enlighten plz

yes, they want to dump westminster model. The most third rate model which we too acquired as all our politicians of the era only knew British laws. We are a federation of states and first past the goal is not the best way for us. We too need to change to Presidential form of democracy.

Things have been quiet..... will remain quiet till elections are over..... We do not want a flare up.... They also want time to recover(in and around LOC)....Things could get heated up early June....
This is precisely what wasn't wanted. Post 27/02, we were told action is forthcoming. Now we're told the lull is due to election. Post June we'd be in the midst of the monsoons where the general condition in India is hardly conducive for military options. In short, all that talk about choking off the Pakistani economy thru major engagements across the LoC were just that - talks. The operations effectively ceased on 27/02.What we're seeing on the LoC are just routine small scale operations. A battle of attrition, as it were, involving capture / loss of BoP's. Much ado about nothing. While Pakistan did bear costs, the overall intention of parading our overwhelming military strength and undermining PA's narrative including humbling them has come a copper.

Which Coup - Birds in left ear say Coup against IK, birds in right ear say Coup against Bajwa, or will it be double Gafoor/Qureshi.
But one thing is certain whoever comes in power will become INDIAN AGENT within a year time - they are very patriotic you know - dollar sells or so they believe :p:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Anyone touching our beloved gaffoora should beware that nuclear war will start

It will actually embolden them as getting beaten by India even inside Pakistan after a terrorist attack won't be a taboo anymore, thanks to our exceptional handling they find a way to avoid the humiliation even after getting caught pants down.

It will set a new normal where it is ok to kill Indians and get few Pakistani killed in retaliation, similar to using proxies to bomb each other around 2010 only difference is we will be risking a lot in avenging due to overt nature and may not be lucky every time however Pakistan can get it done using unknown Jihadi.

Every time after tension, Pakistanis run to other countries and beg and it still works, thanks to our "strong leadership". Wait for next attack. If only we humiliated Pakistani Army on the day of surgical strikes by releasing videos and even Balakot, but no, how will we turn a victory into a loss!

Looks like some folks are back to their old ways of doom and gloom. I swear, no matter what happens there always will be someone complaining about something. Folks are giving Pakistan way too much credit than they deserve.
