Agartala's new airport terminal was nearing completion. This was supposed to be a part of the plan to upgrade the Airport from a domestic only to Domestic/International. Work is now stopped due to the COVID-19. The terminal was scheduled to be open by the end of the year. Status of work on runway extension in unknown to me. We were supposedly having some talks with the Bangladeshi govt. about the runway extension work as extending the runway will lead us into their territory. Don't know if they said yes.
