An Indian Coast Guard 'Dornier 228' #aircraft did a Runway excursion & came to a stop crashing on a facility structure at Chakeri airport in Kanpur after it suffered left engine failure on Thursday.

The co-pilot of this air Chppers.craft was a person who had converted from Choppers to DO-228. After landing, he gave opposite rudder instaed of relaxing on the rudder towards the live engine side resulting in the aircraft going off the runway. In fixed wing aircraft you dont need to centralise the rudders as they get centralised due to air pressure, but in Choppers its not so. The rudders need to be centered by applying opposite force. like if you are carrying left rudder, to center it, you will need to apply pressure on right rudder to center the rudder.
