IAF to parliamentary standing committee
- DRDO has carried out successful maiden flight test of Long Range Glide Bomb, GAURAV from Su-30 MK-I platform of IAF. GAURAV is an air launched 1,000 kg class glide bomb capable of hitting targets at long distance. During the flight test, the glide bomb hit the target with pinpoint accuracy.
we have models , meanwhile missile man and k5 director standing aside.
15 nos transit cases are required for NASM-MR, possibly for the warhead testing in the rocket sled facility at TBRL. Possibly why there were also work for concrete blocks related work.

Within a year or two we are fielding missiles for trials. Kudos to DRDO.

Field Evaluation Trials of indigenously-developed Nag Mk 2, the third-generation Anti-Tank Fire-and-Forget Guided Missile, were successfully conducted recently at Pokhran Field Range in the presence of senior officers of the Indian Army. During the three field trials, the missile systems destroyed precisely all the targets - maximum and minimum range, thus validating its firing range.
The Nag Missile Carrier version-2 was also field evaluated. With this, the entire weapon system is now ready for induction into the Indian Army.
Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO, Indian Army and industry for the successful field evaluation trials of the entire weapon system of Nag Mk 2.
Secretary, Department of Defence R&D & Chairman DRDO Dr Samir V Kamat appreciated the efforts of all the stakeholders for making the missile ready for induction into the Indian Army.

A large static testing rig being built , actually one such old existing rig is being increased in length for some purpose, to be more precise. It is likely similar to the test setup we have seen before, structurally (maybe) like in the Tejas drop tank. Except that it is big.
