Honestly, either you ban @Guynextdoor, or this is how it will always be. He's an incurable idiot, even lengthy bans have no lasting effect on him, he always reverts to and reveals his real aukaat in the end.

If you look at the "offensive" posts in this thread, especially those by me, @_Anonymous_ and @Aravind; they are almost exclusively replies to that idiot. So the writing is on the wall.

Today, the Supreme Court has ordered that the BS Yeddyurappa-led BJP government in Karnataka that was sworn into power on Thursday prove its strength on the floor of the Karnataka Assembly in a test at 4 pm on Saturday. In doing so, the apex court cut short by two weeks at the time that the Karnataka Governor had afforded BS Yeddyurappa in his letter inviting him to take an oath.

The entire issue was blown air in Karnataka after the BJP Party arose as the single largest party after the Karnataka Elections 2018 results was announced on 15th of May this month. BJP fell short of 8 MLA members and thus could not celebrate its complete victory.

So is there a surprise for the Congress in store?
Why does the Congress forget that BJP would have thought all possibilities and would workout on an alternative plan before it could get into the election battle. Well, BJP has master minds in its hands and is not run by fools of Congress. India trusts the Single largest party.

The Congress and JDS MLA’s were taken by buses to resorts and hotels in Bangalore with an intention to keep them together and ‘keep the flock together’. Both Congress, as well as JDS, have combined hands together in order to beat BJP no matter what. But after all, BJP led by the King Maker himself, there is no pointing of letting the party down.

Congress will issue a whip and any cross voters will be disqualified. So BJP needs 14 abstentions total.

can we please figure out ways to get along well? being educated adults and kind of the "Cream" of the Indian population, we should be able to figure this out and teach others how to get along? I have had opportunity to interact with each of you individually and see no reason why any of you need to be banned - you are all very good in debating and articulating complex arguments - can we please have the debates without name calling, bad blood and backhanded comments?

By what definition is Guynextdoor the "cream" of the Indian population bro :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:? Anyhow, I've tried your suggestion several times, and each time I try to give this idiot a chance by engaging with him in a mature, respectful and decent manner; he shows his aukaat. So until and unless he learns to behave like a human, I'll handle him the way he needs to be handled.

Mods have been trying, on and off, for a couple years now across this forum and the last one to make this idiot behave properly, aur nateeja hum sab ke saamne hai.

Had you asked for us starting an Indian SpaceX for the sole purpose of Colonizing Mars. we would most likely do it. but to expect have a sane conversation with an indoctrinated dolt who cannot fathom any other view point other than his own world view. It is rather difficult.

I don't what makes you come to the conclusion that GND is an informed responsible member . He has a history behind him and a reputation which precedes him. Leave everything aside , please go thru the posts he's made here or the recent thread he's created in the Members Cafe and tell me what's your impressions about him.

He deals in innuendoes haranguing & name calling ( to him anyone who doesn't agree with him is a bhak t . Then he throws in a gaumata every now & then .If you see me raising his origins , hope you now know why ) . Citations , references , logical reasoning etc to build a case are about as alien to him as common sense to the PA. Does whatever he post here strike you as a mature adult doing so or an irresponsible teen who's just discovered something new ?

Supreme Court turns down Congress plea. Suggests all channels live telecast the floor test. KG Bopaiah will remain the pro-tem Speaker and conduct the floor test. The floor test is scheduled to happen at 4 pm today.

Present day BJP and Conghi chaps are no different from thugs and require a good kicking. Congress is long dead while bjp will last till modi is around (2 more terms). Post that, there will be a strong 3rd front after most people realize that the lotus stinks just as bad as the hand. Erstwhile politicians served people and not themselves. Meanwhile, India will continue to progress not because of the popularity and policies of its anpadh leaders, but globalization, technology and huge domestic consumption of our population. Quality of life for the common man will remain third rate.

How will INC-JDS MLA's vote for BJP? Is there nothing like Anti-Defection Law or Party whip in a voice/hand vote, is that why? Assuming they have 104-5 MLAs, they need 13-14 abstentions to bring down the majority mark.
 
1 BJP MLA missing, and BJP holding a late closed door meeting. Also chatter on the ground that if he's not confident of his numbers, Yeddyurappa will resign.

Don't think BJP passes the floor test today unless they pull some absolutely crazy and random Ace out of their sleeves.
