Indian Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Developments

Dynamatic Technologies are developing a VTOL surveillance UAV named "Cheel":

Cheel will carry an opto-electronic sensor package & will feed targeting data to this jet powered autonomous loitering munition:

The jet powered drone will have no radio control, can operate in GPS denied environments & will be jamming resistant.

Cheel looks almost identical to Ideaforge's Switch design.

Edit: which has already been inducted. Then there's Tata's ALS-50 that combines recon and strike in a single package. Imo, Cheel is redundant right out the door.

However, that jet-powered drone can certainly fill a niche as a high-speed recon/artillery fire correction and attack munition for the IA

Navigation in GNSS denied environment
Fire and Forget
CEP ~ 2m

I can not believe they showed that with such a spec in a major event, hope they not get laughed at in their face by the forces personnel. technology demonstrator wise this is absolutely fine and really good.
