If I am not wrong Russia supplied those propellers for IAC..Are they made in India ?

It will carry around 20-25 jets(Mig-29K) depending on the operations, the carrier will also take helicopter for ASW & patrolling operations. 57 jets are ordered to maintain a backup, for example IN operates 45 Mig-29Ks but INS Vicky can only carry 20-25 of them at one time, the remaining jets are either resting at naval air station or are undergoing maintenance. Can you cite that information. Initially we were to source warship grade steel from the Russians. But they missed schedule and delayed the project, so we decided to make our own steel. I thought Russia's participation officially ended there. So, we're also going to source propellers from them. Why didn't we just do that ourselves after the delay ?
Also, the Navy's tender is for 57 fighters, if I recall correctly. Does that mean IAC-1 will carry 57 fighters or some of them will be training aircrafts ? how many fighters and helos will it carry ?
I read somewhere that the reason for the 57 jet tender is that IN didn't want to operate Migs from IAC and the bidders were super hornet and rafale-m. This info. you cite, is it from wiki ? Anyhow 25 seems too little too late for all the trouble of operating/building an AC.It will carry around 20-25 jets(Mig-29K) depending on the operations, the carrier will also take helicopter for ASW & patrolling operations. 57 jets are ordered to maintain a backup, for example IN operates 45 Mig-29Ks but INS Vicky can only carry 20-25 of them at one time, the remaining jets are either resting at naval air station or are undergoing maintenance.
Source influenced by USA/West will always post something against Migs. Migs are very capable jets and they suit our doctrine as well without putting much pressure on our pockets.I read somewhere that the reason for the 57 jet tender is that IN didn't want to operate Migs from IAC and the bidders were super hornet and rafale-m. Largely agree with that. Well as they say the proof the pudding is in eating. Vicky is already out on deployment with the Migs as we speak. If the situation demands for it we may see the Migs in action.Source influenced by USA/West will always post something against Migs. 25 jets are enough to operate within IOR, remember our adversaries are PN & PLAN, IN will face PLAN near A&N islands with IAF supporting it with far superior Su, Migs & Mirages so Mig-29K will operate there in a group with some 29Ks waiting at the near base to join the carrier when the need arises so in total all 45 Mig-29Ks can take part here.
AFA PN is concerned 29Ks won't operate beyond Gwadar and will face 'limited' Jf-17 & F-16s if it decides to operate in Gwadar, but it will have backing from Sukhois, AWACs & Barak-8. AFA Karachi port is concerned, I think 29K will have full support from IAF jets so no issues there.
One of the best specialist for boat propellers is Johnson, from USA.Bronze it would seem. Good information available in open source. Are they made in India ? Who makes them I wonder.

Old Pic - See post #39 Dated Oct 31,2018 on this threadAnd Vicky is back in CSL.......Wait wasn't she supposed to be out with the gang as the Navy said. Also notice how she is in the dry docks, you can't get a ship her size in dry docks very quickly. Even if we are to assume that this pic is recent, this kind of turn around times are simply not possible.

Here is a pic from last year posted by @R!cK.

Notice the striking similarities between the two pics. Look at the black wire like thing on the ski jump, those blue sheets.
Is google using pics from last year and passing them on as recent. May be the GoI got them to do that. In which case are the satellite pics of the IAC-1 that I posted were from last year too. Maybe that's why we couldn't see any changes on the deck. @GuardianRED @Parthu @Falcon

This comes off as shocking to me because I always thought that commercial satellite imagery can compromise military developments. Curiously this is why I started following commercial imagery in the first place. We know it.
Nothing to prove at that.
Even your project varsha is old
