Situation real bad for Imran, Maulana has reached Islamabad and got more people with him than anyone expected. He has been calling the elections rigged from day one unlike PMLN and PPP his stance is very clear on it.

Combined with precarious situation of Nawaz Sharif who was intentionally kept in inhumane conditions for a seriously ill patient and administered food that can cause irreparable damage this is really explosive for Bajwa and his boy.

Generals worked overtime in recent days from threats to appeasement to agree Nawaz to leave for London and die their so that army can some how salvage tiny bit of reputation but Nawaz don't agree. He lost his wife, stayed in Jail, had to see his daughter in jail now is the time for him to be a martyr and he is not giving it up and making generals pay for taking away everything from him. General offered similar deal when he was in London before election so that he can be declared "fugitive" and Imran can win easily. His return complicated numbers and fauzis have to show their skill in setting up election for Imran, though still couldn't make him win majority.

Easiest way out will be to buy Maulana but its too late now for that, Maulana can't turn back even if he wants and if Nawaz dies in between don't be surprised if generals are beaten in public along with Niazi.

Second option is to sacrifice Imran and make Shah Mehmood Qureshi as PM, in this case Imran will leave Pakistan and will never return. He hasn't faced jail and Maryam with age on her side will hunt him like a dog along with family so he won't be coming back.

Cards are stacked against Bajwa and his boy, let's see how they come out of it. Though there are good chances they will survive as Shahbaz Sharif is secretly sabotaging PLMN support to Maulana and with right motivation Maulana too may crack but depends heavily upon passion of supporters.

If your assessment is right then I have to give it to Nawaz Sharif that he's man of integrity and honor. I always took him as corrupt politician before this.

But my view is that he might be doing this for his daughter's political career, for keeping alive his legacy.

Let's see how this Pakistani game of thrones unfolds.

Nawaz is a khandaani loaded guy. He lost his wife a few years ago, and then went through the transition from being a 3 time PM to an accused (allegedly) criminal. He has nothing to lose, and insists on staying in Pakistan despite his medical condition(despite the establishment now begging him to shift overseas for treatment). Sources (sane ones like Mehmood Sadiq) state that he has insisted on honorable exoneration by the courts in Pakistan, to even consider moving out. If that happens, the supporters (in addition to maulana's army) will create mayhem, and that's exactly what will inevitably create a public demand for re-election...And guess who will win?

Otoh, if mianji becomes pyaara to ola, (which may have happened already, who knows) it compounds the already explosive situation in favour of the maulana diesel. So catch 22 for Bajwa and niazi 🤷‍♂️
