Pakistan is important tool for them to keep India in check. So they will continue to support it, this way or that.

Any sort of violence against students in strictly condemned but Pakistanis and few Bangladeshi students have a habit of doing every other thing apart from studies on foreign soil, some students from arab countries have the same habit too. It is possible that Pakistanis male students were already marked for hanging out with local girls to gain citizenship and starting business like mobile shops after gaining PR by paying lawyers, and then these businesses end up as front for ISI. The brawl with Egyptians gave the planners an excuse to do this kind of mob assault.
Because the way it unfolded, it seems this mob lynching was very well planned and they knew what to do.

Old news but interesting.

Reality of Pakistan's indigenous missile program. Indigenous my foot!

The US Department of State has imposed sanctions on three China-based companies and one from Belarus for supplying missile-applicable items for Pakistan's ballistic missile programme.
China, an all-weather ally of Pakistan, has been the main supplier of arms and defence equipment to Islamabad's military modernisation programme.
The US has imposed sanctions on China'-based Xi’an Longde Technology Development Company Limited, Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd, and Granpect Company Limited. The Department of State has also imposed sanctions on Belarus-based Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, who has worked to supply special vehicle chassis to Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program.
Tianjin Creative Source International Trade Co Ltd supplied missile-related equipment to Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile programme, including stir welding equipment (which the United States assesses can be used to manufacture propellant tanks used in space launch vehicles), and a linear accelerator system (which the United States assesses can be used in the inspection of solid rocket motors).

Tianjin Creative’s procurements were likely destined for Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), which develops and produces Pakistan’s MTCR Category I ballistic missiles.
Granpect Company worked with Pakistan's SUPARCO to supply equipment for testing large-diameter rocket motors.

Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant supplied special vehicle chassis to Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile programme.
Such chassis are used as launch support equipment for ballistic missiles by Pakistan's National Development Complex (NDC), which is responsible for the development of Missile Technology Control Regime Category (MTCR) I ballistic missile, the US State Department said.

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has approved the 100% acquisition of M/s. Actis Holdings S.a.r.l (Actis Holdings), a Luxembourg-based company having a presence in Pakistan's solar power market, by M/s. General Atlantic Partners, L.P. (GA), a US-based firm.

Actis Holdings is a sustainable infrastructure investor with a diverse portfolio in energy infrastructure, long-life infrastructure, digital infrastructure, real estate, and private equity sectors. Funds managed by Actis hold a majority interest in Solis, which is a majority shareholder in Yellow Door. Yellow Door is actively engaged in the solar electricity business in Pakistan.

The acquirer General Atlantic Partners, L.P. (GA), founded in 1980 and headquartered in New York, is a growth equity firm that provides capital and strategic support for global growth companies. GA boasts an impressive portfolio of 225 companies across six global sectors: climate, consumer, financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and technology.

The CCP's Phase-I competition assessment identified 'Power Generation - Solar' as the relevant product market. The assessment revealed Actis Holdings indirect presence in Pakistan via Yellow Door which has a market share of less than 1%, remaining unchanged post-transaction. Ultimately, the proposed acquisition will not result in GA gaining dominance in the relevant market. This move is expected to bring enhanced expertise, technology, and capital to the local market, fostering competition and innovation in the renewable energy sector.

Okay, so they are trying to make themselves more dependent on renewable energy to avoid load shedding.

It is hard for Pakistan to achieve anything if it spends bulk of its resources on military. Today if bankruptcy is avoided then it is because IMF provided the short term money. Angry USA for four years relented and allowed some short term relief on a totally mismanaged economy.

But how long?

This situation suits India fine if Pakistan neither goes bankrupt nor progresses. That gives India to achieve $10 Trillion economy in 5 years.

Another eyewash to impress Chinese godfather. And in the name of so called clean up Munir and his generals will make millions and some share will go to Sharifs. Fact is Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan have gone out of their control and any kind of such military operation will only create more trouble for them. Even if they try diplomacy, that's not going to bring any significant progress.
