Six army men killed in North Waziristan

PESHAWAR: At least six troops were martyred, including a junior commissioned officer, and another injured in a terrorist attack on them in the remote mountainous Shawal Valley of North Waziristan tribal region, near the Afghan border, on Sunday. Security officials in Miranshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, told The News that members of the bomb disposal squad were clearing a road near the Afghan border for the security forces when a group of terrorists from Afghanistan’s Paktika province ambushed them.

"Six soldiers of the army were martyred while another was injured in this sad incident," said a security official on condition of anonymity.

He said the slain security personnel included a junior commissioned officer (JCO) and a Havaldar. "It was around 7:30 on Sunday morning when this unfortunate incident took place," said the security officer.

========================

Non-Pashtuns(probably Mohajirs) also joined PTM rally to chant slogans against Fauj yesterday

A military vehicle has been targeted in Miranshah By-pass near a fuel pump in North Waziristan Agency, officials say an IED planted on the road has severly injured 2 security men.

One soldier killed and three others injured as troops carrying water in South Waziristan come under target from unknown armed men.

A policeman along with a pedestrian shot dead in Dera Ismail Khan by unknown motorcyclists in what officials believe is a targetted attack.

(Attacks in FATA seem to have escalated again in past few months)

Another confession from a Pak journalist

I am an eye witness of the camp of LeT established in the area of #Thatta Sindh, it was the same camp where Ajmal Kasab was trained. It was just a couple of kilometers away from my agricultural land. Many people of the area had seen the Ajmal Kasab too.

@safriz What's going on with Pak NSA Janjua, he suddenly seems to have attained enlightenment and talking peace in clear terms. Is this effect of FATF deadline approaching?

BTW what do you see Pak in the coming session after FATF? Black listed or Grey listed? I haven't seen any significant or even minor step taken to avoid getting blacklisted. Even the steps after ordinance were retracted.

Grey listing doesn't really affect Pak army or govt, only the cost of doing business increases a bit and after few months you will be habitual of it. Also it's trader community that will be affected most and somewhat common man, fortunately common man is willing to eat grass for Islamic bomb against Zionists and few enforced disappearances will make the traders quite as mum.

In less than 3 weeks time,Pakistan is very much likely to be black listed.

Meanwhile, more protests in Mir Ali,Waziristan against return of "Good Taliban" in their areas and target killing by Wardi

Pakistan Zindabad rally organised by Wardi in Bannu,KPK

Pak army tried real hard to sponsor rally in Bloochistan, fed the anchors the propaganda and suddenly Baloochistan was very patriotic. This was all done to shine image of Pak army and Gen. Raheel Sharif. Short films were made directly by ISPR.

I don't know how many billions they spent on false propaganda which got washed away in few months. Had they spent this much on kids school they won't have 50% kids not even enrolling in school. Some steps of army are so stupid that they fall directly into competition of Hafiz Saeed.

They should really improve the quality of army officers education, this much dumbness will someday end up in gangwar between two factions of army and nuking each other, unfortunately since we are neighbours we may have to go in to clean up the mess.

Our economy isn't export based. We only make 20 odd billion in exports at the cost of increasing domestic prices as those items exported have higher demand at home.
So even a complete trade embargo won't hurt much.
The grey list may hurt rich elite and since they are in power. It's their headache. Either way the common man won't be effected.

Common man will be most effected, remittances will be siphoned off, export decline will widen your balance of trade, forex reserves already under heavy pressure will be wiped out as a result Rupee will be devalued which will increase import bill further and with costly oil inflation will skyrocket.

Devaluation of Rs will also soar your already unsustainable levels of debt and then comes ultimate bombshell, BoP crisis, I don't know how will you manage cuz you already used all your resources.

Inflation without increase in money supply is toughest to control infact loss in remittances lessen money supply will make life of common man most painful.

You are entering a spiral you will wish you never should have entered. Only way it will end is giving Gwador on 99 year lease for free(which you already have on CPEC debt) so next is Karachi port(but I doubt it will be sufficient) so something more, maybe whole Karachi itself.

Par is sab ke bawajood Kashmir banegaa Pakistan...

According to Pakistani sources, deal has been arranged between the Pak family and US. Diya will be paid(blood money)
Not surprised, they have proven it time and again they can sell even the motherland for right money, what surprises me that they act over smart everytime. They knew this is the only way out still they show those antics that they can somehow stop a US diplomat!

PA couldn't help but to score brownie point on death of any poor man. After that fake bravado those clown would surely have sent messages to WhatsApp group of journalists to scream how brave Pakistan Army intervention stopped diplomat while civilians sold him to west. Those idiots can't help it.

Is it any wonder that the only Indian journalists based in Pakistan are from "The Hindu." ( I'm not sure of this as of today but it's the only Indian newspaper to have their correspondent operating out of Islamabad. )
PSK too confirmed yesterday that some 4 Indian journalists were called for the briefing. But yea good point. The Hindu isnt reliable when it comes to such things. like the nuclear sub issue
