UAE announces $200 million in humanitarian aid to Pakistan

UAE_Pakistan-768x512.jpg

ISLAMABAD – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan have signed a US$200 million cooperation agreement to execute Phase III of the UAE Pakistan Assistance Programme (UAE PAP).

The funds will be invested in provinces including Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It will also include 40 projects covering roads, health, education, water and agriculture.

No presence of any Pak minister :D

That money is to ensure the UAE princelings can do what they want in Pakistan. Starting with bustard hunting. No country is better at offering its services like the Pakistanis. After all just matter of moving the begging bowl from one donor to the other.

Followed by something bigger than Kargil.

We should stop being such a , pardon my language, pussy state. The need is to create a rump state. Remove Balochistan. Fuel the freedom movement. And ensure the Pashtuns get all the material support they need to wage civil war. Once this is done, you will see China too coming to negotiate on our terms with India.

Do to them what they are doing in Kashmir, only 10 times more deadly. Without using the religion card.

I think what you have mentioned is already going on, it's just their media is not able to report every incident. May be they want to be silent as it will affect CPEC.

Pashtun crisis looks like a good opportunity to destabilize the CPEC, as this community is completely integrated in Pakistani cities and especially the radical Punjabi sunnis don't like this community due to their ethnicity and relations with Afghanistan. So it's just matter of time before RAW is given free hand to function at their best without worrying too much about implications.

We can't play the religious card like our second rated neighbors play, but we always have the ethnicity card.

Saudi Arabia reduces tourist visa fee for India and rest of the world – but not Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – The Saudi Arabia government has announced to soften its visa policy for India, and rest of the world, continuing the same old plan for Pakistan.

Providing relaxation in the visa for the citizens of European and other countries including India, the Saudi government reduced 90-day visit visa fee from 2,000 Riyal to 305 Riyal. Likewise, the fee has also reduced to 180 and 360 days visa.

However, Pakistanis tourists who pay Rs0.1 million to Rs0.4 million for Saudi visa would not be able to avail this opportunity as the policy remains the same.

Top Army General warns against organised campaign against Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat has unveiled enemy designs against Pakistan.

He said on Monday that enemies of the country were systematically spreading fake news about the country.

“Information is the strength of today, but it also being misused. False impressions are given about Pakistan deliberately and fake news against the country is spread in an organised manner,” Hayat told the gathering.

The general also stressed that CPEC was going to be a game changer for the region, and that Pakistan was about to become world’s 18th biggest economy in 2020.

“No country in the world ever came close to our accomplishments. Pakistan is experiencing some issues of extremism, governance and security, but is not India facing all these issues?”(equal equal with India is compulsory) he noted.

$4.9 billion!

Since when did Pakistan had this much spare change to launder? If it were 49 million PKR it would have made sense, this amount is too big to be true. Its almost equal to defence budget of that time and we know how Pak army get this much money.

Just dirty games by Establishment to harass Nawaz Sharif because he wanted peace with India

Back in the 80s it was mandatory across the country.

Stop smoking hashish inside Parliament Lodges, says Senate committee

Hashish smokers should be stopped from lighting up within Parliament Lodges' premises and be asked to smoke "somewhere outside", Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla held on Thursday when a colleague of his complained of 'feeling dizzy' after inhaling second-hand smoke in the lodges in Islamabad.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senator Samina Saeed complained that "drivers smoke hashish inside the Parliament Lodges and are sometimes joined by policemen for a drag" during a session of the Senate House Committee — which overlooks the overall upkeep of the Parliament.

"My head starts spinning because of the hashish when I pass through that area," Senator Samina said, adding that once when she passed by the lodges, she started "feeling dizzy" by the time she reached her room.

The committee, chaired by the deputy speaker, subsequently recommended an end to hashish smoking in the lodges.

"Those smoking hashish should be stopped, they can go outside somewhere and smoke it," Senator Mandviwalla said.

Two girls’ schools hit by bomb explosions in North Waziristan

MIRAMSHAH: Militancy has again reared its ugly head in North Waziristan Agency as two schools for girls there have been hit by bomb explosions and pamphlets warning locals not to send grown-up girls to educational institutions have been distributed widely.

Residents said the boundary wall of a middle school for girls, situated in the Hasokhel area of Mirali tehsil, was blown up on Wednesday night. Another middle school for girls was bombed in the same tehsil on Monday night, they said. The blast partially damaged the school’s main building.

Meanwhile, a pamphlet distributed purportedly by a militant group called Ittehadul Mujahideen North Waziristan warned residents against sending grown-up girls to schools. “We will not tolerate to see grown-up girls going to schools in various areas,” it said. Middle schools in different parts of the tribal agency received copies of the pamphlet on Tuesday. The tribal elders who have been supporting the authorities also received pamphlets, which asked them not to support government policies.

Pakistan’s ISI plans to free terrorists, train them for jihad in Jammu and Kashmir

In its latest move to terrorise Jammu and Kashmir, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is planning to free several Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) members lodged in jails and train them to wage jihad in the state.

The terrorists would be released on the condition that they wage ‘holy war’ in J&K, according to intelligence inputs. The TTP members will infiltrate J&K and target security forces and establishments under the Masood Azhar-led Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

The latest ISI decision comes after the success of Operation All-Out 1 and 2. Out of the total 67 terrorists eliminated by security forces this year, 27 were of foreign origin. The other terrorists belong to JeM, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).

CIA concerned about potential contacts between extremists and Pakistani nuclear scientists

WASHINGTON: The CIA continues to be very concerned about the potential connection between extremist groups and Pakistani nuclear scientists and is very closely monitoring this, a top official from the spy agency has told lawmakers.

"There was very deep concern about potential contacts, and we continue to monitor this very closely, between extremists and Pakistani nuclear scientists," Gina Haspel, US President Donald Trump's nominee for CIA director told the members of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee during her confirmation hearing on Wednesday.

Haspel, if confirmed by the Senate, would be the first female head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). She was responding to a question from Senator John Cornyn.

"(Recently reading through a book) I was reminded that post-9/11, President Bush was concerned about reports he had received that Osama bin Laden and al Qaida were meeting with the Pakistani officials connected with their nuclear programme to gain access to a nuclear device that they might then use for a follow-on attack against the cities like Washington DC," Cornyn said.

"Without divulging classified information, can you confirm that there were concerns about follow-on attacks using nuclear devices, biological weapons, other weapons of mass destruction that might have killed more innocent Americans as happened on 9/11? Was that the environment in which you and the country were operating in at the time?"Cornyn asked.

There were very grave concerns on that front, Haspel answered.

"And indeed, al-Qaida had those kinds of programmes, efforts to acquire crude, dirty bombs, efforts to develop -- they had a programme -- a biological weapons programme. I remember the operative who was in charge of that," Haspel said.

Pakistan demands $9 billion Jizya from USA
(Pakistan is probably the only nation which demands compensation for fighting terrorists on its own soil, that too proudly)

ISLAMABAD: US has to give Pakistan $9 billion on bills pending before USadministration on account of the Coalition Support Fund (CSF). Minister for Finance Miftah Ismail confirmed there were pending claims of $9 billion against the US on account of CSF dues.

“In last 17 years, Islamabad received $14 billion from USA on account of CSF amount,” said one top official of Finance Division in background interview and added that over $9 billion claims were still pending before Trump administration.

Under the CSF mechanism, Pakistan claims all such expenditure which were already incurred for mobilisation of troops and launching of offensive against terror networks in tribal and other areas adjacent to Afghanistan and then US reimbursed the amounts after hectic reconciliation.

“Even reconciled amounts has not yet been fully paid back by USA,” said senior official and added that Washington provided peanuts to Pakistan so far on this front.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
They are asking money for killing terrorists, from USA.
Pakistani establishment has no shame is claiming that those terrorist were killed just because USA offered them money, otherwise they would have just kept mum about their activities. And unfortunately the common Pakistanis thinks the same, many news media, even the most sane individuals accept that they killed terrorist because USA asked them to do it.

@safriz seriously dude, I hope your FM is getting all the instructions from bureaucrats and not from some Ulema.
