I feel really sad for these Pakistanis. Next they will start shaking hands with even the loaders and fuel tanker staff to show that at least someone was there to recieve and see them off.

China also knows very well what the outcome of taking this to the UNSC would be. Besides, China is not overtly backing Pakistan, just calling out its own concerns over its own interests vis-a-vis Aksai Sin/ Ladakh. Do you think China gives a rat's posterior about Muslims in Kashmir, when it is running concentration camps itself in Xinxiang for Uighur Muslims??

Challenging task

We can curse Modi from here to Timbuktu for what he has done. We can mount any number of diplomatic crusades against the violation of its own Constitution by the Indian government. And, of course we can go around the world trying to rouse the global conscience against the blatant human rights violations in India-occupied Kashmir (IoK), that are being committed with complete impunity by the Indian troops now numbering over a million against the unarmed, besieged and terrorised citizens demanding azadi. We can also observe numerous Black Days to commemorate the shocker.
But can we change the new reality created by doing away with Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution? And remember, war is no option. On the face of it and as of today, it appears that this is going to be an irreversible development. The Line of Control (LoC) seems to have disappeared into thin air and a line denoting the international border has emerged in its place.
How have we reached this point of total impotence in our struggle for Kashmir — the land we call our jugular vein — and which we have been funding? Why could we not pre-empt this move which is being likened to the East Pakistan debacle in proportion? Shouldn’t we hold those assigned the responsibility of safeguarding our interests in Kashmir accountable? Of course, the argument against it would be: No, this is not the time for conducting such an exercise. We need complete national unity today — everyone on the same page. But that was the argument used when we failed to reach Srinagar before the Indian troops did in 1948; when we went to war in 1965 without any preparations; when the country stood dismembered in 1971 (Hamoodur Rehman Commission Report was never officially made public in Pakistan); when we lost Siachen; when we faced the ignominy of Kargil; and when the US Seals flew in and killed Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad. Had we held those responsible for the long list of debacles mentioned above, accountable, perhaps August 5, 2019 would not have happened.
Realistically speaking, nothing has changed for Pakistan. IoK was a disputed territory for us even when Articles 370 and 35A were in operation and would remain so even after their abolition. But we would need to mobilise the world opinion in favour of our contention, now that the LoC has been forcibly obliterated by India, annexing disputed territory into the Union.
This is going to be an extremely challenging task because lately, the world at large had already started accepting the Indian claims that Pakistan-sponsored jihadi organisations Lashkar-i-Taiba of Hafiz Saeed, and Jaish-i-Mohammad of Masood Azhar, were actually behind the bloodshed in IoK.
Ours is a simple case. India, the world’s largest democracy, has failed to win the hearts and minds of a handful of peaceful people even after having kept them under forcible suppression for 72 long years. Over the last almost 30 years, New Delhi kept this population under complete subjugation, stationing a contingent of 700,000 armed-to-teeth troops with orders to shoot-to-kill even stone-throwing street urchins. Last year, they used pellet guns blinding hundreds of children. And now just before withdrawing the special status of IoK, re-enforcement by the thousands has been sent in. All political leaders, even those who had been siding with the Indian government like Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti — all former chief ministers of IoK — have been jailed. The Hurriyat leaders are already in prison.
Pakistan’s case is based on principles. The Muslim-majority princely state belonged to Pakistan because that was the basis of the Partition of India — the two-nation theory. India’s case was that Kashmir’s accession validated the theory of secular nationalism on which it was founded. Now this argument of India has been invalidated by BJP’s Hindutva principle which means India is a Hindu state and all other religious minorities should either embrace Hindu religion or leave India.

Pakistan is simply pathetic. Even the present Railways, Roadways and Airways in J&K is atleast a decade ahead than anything in whole of Pakistan.
The only arguments pakistanis these days have
1. Toilets
A: Lol in last 5 years we added sanitation facilities for more people than the whole population of Pakistan.
2. Extreme Poverty.
A: In last 15 years we have pulled out nearly 300million Indians from Extreme Poverty.
3. Hindutva....

I have said this before, I am from Jammu province.. You can go on with your gagagagagaga nonsense of blames with absolutely no context of who I am or where I am from or how many family members I have lost to terrorism. Let me tell you the legacy I have and if you hang your head in shame, you could aplogize
First we talk about my forefathers
- My forefathers have migrated from Punjab to live along the Line of Control
- We survived 1947 and even at the risk of a gora drawing a line wrong (Sir radcliff was his name), we stuck it out for far longer before Indian army showed up
- Then we built an air strip for Indian Army landing their Dakotas - Over night. It is a world record of civilians coming together and choosing sides
- They fought alongside the LEGENDARY Brig Priam Singh (read about battle of poonch), in a siege that almost lasted one year. The ONLY border that Kabailis could not penetrate was our border - because we had made our decision
- in 1965, my uncles climed along our fauji brothers and helped in capture of Haji Pir (which our stupid govt gave away, as, as usual we lost a lot of land in other areas)
- in 1971, we supported our army and held our ground. There were incursions in Chamb, rajasthan and our bois went in towards lahore... But on our border, we did not cede an inch, nor we ran away
Then i talk about my generation
- The first war we saw was the day I was born. Because on our border, firing happens daily
- I grew up playing volley ball and doing boring PT with 93 infantry brigade
- me and my brothers were proud members of National Civil defence team and village defence committee
- we stayed back in 1991 militancy and helped army - we did not leave our homes, did not ask for help from anyone else and were happy with our limited humble means
- we NEVER had ONE infiltration from our border, because we did not allow shelter to those terrorists. If we saw one, we killed one. We saw two, we killed two. We saw movement, we alerted our army
- When Kargil happened, we carried ammunition, food, guns up hills - 32kg packs to our beloved armed forces, who were defending our homes
- We also allowed army to fight and did the work of army horses, because they are easy targets and all posts on our borders are not even trekkable for mules
- i have pants in my home, that have bullet holes, while we jumped in river ravines to take cover from pakistan fire
I and my brothers worked hard, studied hard and got a chance to be a knowledge immigrant. I send more money home that you will earn for yourself. My family still lives on that border. I was home till last sunday and moved out on sunday to join work back and monday this decision was made.
Am a proud indian and I do not consider you worthwhile to tell you my religion, because you do not have the basic sensibility to judge a human being without the name of their religion. I am a son of 93 infantry brigade, which is lovingly knows as the Poonch brigade. Am son of soil from Poonch. I am not an arm chair critic. I have paid my dues, owe a lot to my motherland and will die a proud indian.
But.... none of that takes away my humble and strong belief in respecting basic human values. even if they don't agree with ours. Congress spoiled this state over 70 years and it cannot be changed overnight.
Everyone can get angry. face the real heat and to have the forgiveness is divine. I rest my humble case.

lol.. plus our army will never allow that kind and extent of infiltration.. Hope you know what i meant, in regards to talking about killing the people i kashmir.. that is not how trust is built. But anyways, some here think that an alternative opinion is gaddari. This is why i politely left other forum. Will most likely leave here too, when everyone has a view on kashmir and everyone who has a counter view is somehow a bad person. That is not debate. That is draconian majoritarian-ism.
Find any thing idiotic.. report. This place is clean and will be clean. Put your points and move on. Emotions are running high at this point in time do excuse people for that, personal attacks is not be tolerated. However, banning is that last thing we do unless that member is severely deranged. Admins here are Indians and from varied professions, political and regional backgrounds. You cannot imagine the kind of arguments we've had over the years... and then we decided to have our own forum.
