Jammu & Kashmir live updates: GOI remove all provisions of Article 370

anything from Babaji about reply to the questions asked by people. Did he solve the mystery of 5-6th Mar, Athmuqam and Tarbela.

I forgot which one he said, but in one of those, he claimed that we killed "someone important with a new weapon" or something like that. Also claimed that Masood Azhar is dead.

lol.. plus our army will never allow that kind and extent of infiltration.. Hope you know what i meant, in regards to talking about killing the people i kashmir.. that is not how trust is built. But anyways, some here think that an alternative opinion is gaddari. This is why i politely left other forum. Will most likely leave here too, when everyone has a view on kashmir and everyone who has a counter view is somehow a bad person. That is not debate. That is draconian majoritarian-ism.

I personally hold views that are probably best classified as majoritarian if we're going by modern political labeling; I'm not too favorable towards having a large gray area when it comes to matters of national security & integrity either (or 50 shades of gray as Manish Tewari erroneously said lol). And I feel pretty strongly & am uncompromising about this stuff - as you can guess from my name, there's a historical component there too.

But I do hope you'll stick around and continue putting your views forward. This may seem like profiling or condescending to you (though it's honestly not meant that way), but for me when it comes to engaging with Indian citizens from J&K, I try my best to keep an open mind on their views provided they're not straight up "Azaadi, Endian Dogs go back" types. You clearly don't seem to be of that persuasion from your comment history. I'm also guessing off of your last comment that you're a Gujjar-Bakarwal; who are quite famous for their patriotism and support to the Army.

So by all means, speak and do it freely as a fellow Indian. We will listen, we will try our best to be open minded, and at the very least even if we disagree, we will try our best to be civil even if things get touchy. Because ultimately, just like us, you're also a proud & patriotic Indian who loves the Army.

Welcome, and Jai Hind.

Pakistan has decided to ban all cultural exchanges with India, including all kinds of joint ventures between the entertainment industry of the two countries after India revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, a media report said on Friday.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Thursday launched a national slogan ‘Say No to India’, Dawn newspaper reported.

“All kinds of Indian content have been stopped and Pemra [Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority] has been directed to step up its vigilance along with actions against the sale of Indian DTH instruments,” said Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan.

Earlier this week, India revoked Article 370 to withdraw the special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the region into two Union Territories --Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh.

Pakistan termed the Indian action as “unilateral and illegal”, and said it will take the matter to the UN Security Council.

Awan said that the deception of cultural exchange was polluting the minds of Pakistani youth.

She said that the National Security Council had decided to establish a group and Pakistan would fight the “Hindutva ideology” from all fronts.

The group will be the cluster of all relevant ministries to fight against the Indian designs at required forums.

“The external communications will be dealt with by the ministry of information, the Foreign Office and the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) as per nature of information,” Awan said.

She said in the current situation, the clash between Indian and Pakistani cultural and social values were imminent and it was the media’s responsibility to come to the forefront to defeat Indian “cultural invasion”.

The government has also banned the screening of Indian films in the country’s cinemas.

“No Indian film will be screened in any Pakistani cinema. Drama, films and Indian content of this kind will be completely banned in Pakistan,” Awan tweeted.

Films and cultural relations are the first to get affected when there is tension between the two countries and it is not for the first time that Pakistan has banned Indian films.

Pakistan had taken a similar decision after Balakot air strikes by India in February this year. The Hindi film industry had announced a similar move in the wake of February 14 Pulwama terror attack on a CRPF convoy.

Pakistan to ban all cultural exchanges with India: Report

I have said this before, I am from Jammu province.. You can go on with your gagagagagaga nonsense of blames with absolutely no context of who I am or where I am from or how many family members I have lost to terrorism. Let me tell you the legacy I have and if you hang your head in shame, you could aplogize
First we talk about my forefathers
- My forefathers have migrated from Punjab to live along the Line of Control
- We survived 1947 and even at the risk of a gora drawing a line wrong (Sir radcliff was his name), we stuck it out for far longer before Indian army showed up
- Then we built an air strip for Indian Army landing their Dakotas - Over night. It is a world record of civilians coming together and choosing sides
- They fought alongside the LEGENDARY Brig Priam Singh (read about battle of poonch), in a siege that almost lasted one year. The ONLY border that Kabailis could not penetrate was our border - because we had made our decision
- in 1965, my uncles climed along our fauji brothers and helped in capture of Haji Pir (which our stupid govt gave away, as, as usual we lost a lot of land in other areas)
- in 1971, we supported our army and held our ground. There were incursions in Chamb, rajasthan and our bois went in towards lahore... But on our border, we did not cede an inch, nor we ran away
Then i talk about my generation
- The first war we saw was the day I was born. Because on our border, firing happens daily
- I grew up playing volley ball and doing boring PT with 93 infantry brigade
- me and my brothers were proud members of National Civil defence team and village defence committee
- we stayed back in 1991 militancy and helped army - we did not leave our homes, did not ask for help from anyone else and were happy with our limited humble means
- we NEVER had ONE infiltration from our border, because we did not allow shelter to those terrorists. If we saw one, we killed one. We saw two, we killed two. We saw movement, we alerted our army
- When Kargil happened, we carried ammunition, food, guns up hills - 32kg packs to our beloved armed forces, who were defending our homes
- We also allowed army to fight and did the work of army horses, because they are easy targets and all posts on our borders are not even trekkable for mules
- i have pants in my home, that have bullet holes, while we jumped in river ravines to take cover from pakistan fire

I and my brothers worked hard, studied hard and got a chance to be a knowledge immigrant. I send more money home that you will earn for yourself. My family still lives on that border. I was home till last sunday and moved out on sunday to join work back and monday this decision was made.

Am a proud indian and I do not consider you worthwhile to tell you my religion, because you do not have the basic sensibility to judge a human being without the name of their religion. I am a son of 93 infantry brigade, which is lovingly knows as the Poonch brigade. Am son of soil from Poonch. I am not an arm chair critic. I have paid my dues, owe a lot to my motherland and will die a proud indian.

But.... none of that takes away my humble and strong belief in respecting basic human values. even if they don't agree with ours. Congress spoiled this state over 70 years and it cannot be changed overnight.

Everyone can get angry. face the real heat and to have the forgiveness is divine. I rest my humble case.

Jai Hind.

Your name which is famous in other forum [MOD Edit : we will find refrerences and delete them],
Your view of real truth will unravel after curfiew... Etc make us doubt you.

We cannot accept someone coming new and saying bad things will come to light .. Sort of meaning nothing will change.

Probably u knew more ground situation than us to say those words..

But for us anyone who says especially Kashmiri s that India and Kashmir are not the same..won't be happy together riles up our emotions..

To us Kashmir is a state just like every other state.. And importantly its like head of our country in the map.

This is what he actually said which losers across the border and anti nationals in India are twisting. In my opinion, The Hindu and Scroll should be heavily penalized for peddling fake news which causes harm to India. IMG_20190810_164725.jpg

There wont be any war there wont be any war and there wont be any war between India and Pakistan. The asymmetric war is already going on. And That's all. I always say this and my point is not to disappoint you all but just telling you guys do not wait for this to happen and waste time thinking about it. Kuch nahi hoga. There are proper back channel talks going on with Pakistan military and every thing is s staged drama. CFV is only thing you can expect. Sorry for lowering your adrenaline but there will not be any war.
