There won't be any significant change, barely few seats here and there and it is not happening for next few years.Effing go for it.. All goverments tried to appease Kashmir valley at the expense of Patriots in Jammu and Ladakh. We allowed the valley based region parties to have absolute political control over Jammu and Kashmir. It will be fantastic if Governor put an end to it.
There won't be any significant change, barely few seats here and there and it is not happening for next few years.
Delimitation can't create few extra seats for you and population plays the most important role in it, as per 2011 census muslims constitute 70% of total population. They will still dominate majority of seats no matter how you rearrange the borders of assembly seats and since census data is used for Delimitation and 2011 is too old as 2021 is around the corner you can safely assume delimitation is few years away.
You can rearrange seats in a manner that some Kashmiri seats become complete jihadi and some become tossup after some of their portion falls in Jammu but due to extra population it will still be impossible to form government without winning anything in Kashmir.
In a condition where Jammu and Laddakh have the majority with one or two seats how many times do you think BJP will be able to sweep every single seat in this region with still considerable muslim population?Actually, there is significant gain with delimitation
Jammu and Kashmir have 68% Muslim population, but Kashmir valley makes 52% of population allmost all Muslim (98%)
As long as Jammu gain seats, Valley based radicals loose.
If the amount of seats split between Kashmir and rest of the state reaches 50-50, it's still a victory
Do not forget that few seats increase is all needed
Kashmir valley now have 46 seats Vs 38 in Jammu and 4 I'm laddakh
If Jammu gain few seats, valley will loose simple majority
