It is stealth though obviously nowhere in the class of zumwalt and lcs. But it's on par with its peers like FREMM and type 26 or slightly behind.
Also Stealth is not just about a specific shape. It has various domains like RAM coatings, IR masking, Noise Reduction techniques and EW components.
So if you look at overall picture, shaping is only a minor component and can be ignored for achieving other objectives.

I never saw any stealth destroyer with such a messy deck. Hope we will refine this issue in upcoming new classes.

As you can see from this helpful angle, there have been several stealth enhancing mods on 'Bravo' over 'Alpha'. Modded bridge layout, modded brahmos (outer) rack, modded helo hangar (upper) design, and several EW + 2ndary radar improvements.

Anybody can pls draw up a more comprehensive, more detailed improvements - list?

Nah it's pretty similar. Comparable ships in its class look like this.
The Chinese type 54A looks like this

The European FREMM class frigates look like this

This is the mogami class which is by far the stealthiest frigate right now

And this is the British type 26 which is also one of the latest frigate designs

This is the Ivar hutsfield class used by the Danes and a similar setup is being adopted by the RN in the form of type 31 frigate. Nordic navies have a similar design

Compared to these Vishakapatnam class is pretty decently designed. Amd has superior armament but inferior air defence. And stealth profile will be most likely similar except the British and Japanese design which are much more advanced.

Big Brain Indian Navy:
Step 1: Makes uber expensive destroyers which require extensive R&D and consists of expensive imported subsystems.
Step 2: Stops the order at 3 and redesigns the ship to bring it up to date.
Step 3: Redesigned ship ends up with same capabilities but even more expensive.
Step 4: Limits the numbers to 4 again.

This P15 lineage is more than 2 decades old now, junk it please. Also, these guys couldnt configure a common vls since 2000 and its 21 years now. Bravo!!

The issue with driving this (low number orders + high relative inflation in time spent to "redesign") is the shipyard capacity in India.

Compare what the DWT throughput there is in total compared to PRC. Work backwards from that, it all becomes clearer what the big problem is.

They need to expand the shipyards a lot more, that takes lot of investment cap that India is lacking at moment.

This is also the reason for the rush to get those 2 talwars that russia was saddled without zorya powerpack....worth it apparently even with 2 extra hulls being done in india and clogging up 2 berths there.

This is going to be another "make do the best we can" decade...

Indian economy and hard investment capacity need to bulk up big time this decade. That is the only thing that will truly fix the mess.
